WHAT is that NOISE?

last month

So there I was, picking tomatoes. I kept hearing what I thought was a persisent, obnoxious bird. Then I thought, "that sounds like a cat." Not my George, who was in the house sleeping. So I looked around and called for it, but as it did not go silent and did not appear, I figured it was just a bird, as I originally thought.

Well, today, my SO was letting Leo out, and called for me. I walked out onto the porch and you could HEAR its cries from down at my SOs shop. So we went to investigate.

Sigh. Two kittens. Very small, very spicy, no mother in sight. I only had regular dry cat food because that is what George eats so I grabbed a pack of tuna and gave it to them. They are NOT friendly. But luckily they are small enough to where I can snatch them up and there is little they can do about it. We left them water and the rest if the tuna in the shop, just in case mom comes back. They really are too small to be away from her, but I figure she must be gone because of the crying and how hungry they were. They fought viciously over the tuna, even though there was plenty for both.

I am off work tommorow, so I will see if I can get them in the carrier and to the walk in vet, just to make sure they are alright. I do not really need 2 more animals, but I guess its fine if they wanna hang out in SOs shop. I will have to get them fixed as soon as possible. Depending on the genders, I have names in mind. If they are both boys, Scrooge and Marley. If one or both are girls, Oogie and Boogie.
