Me too! I had an injection yesterday, no difference. Don't have the recovery time for the surgery right now. Please tell me the injection took a few days to kick in!

Terilyn, oh boy I am sorry to hear of your shoulder problem too! I tried injections before both of my surgeries (same shoulder) they never worked for me. I have resigned myself to ever being pain free with it but I hope you as well as Glenda can come to a resolve that will rid the pain.

Some days it's better, other worse. I work work work it to keep it mobile.

Had a headache with the injection and it helped "somewhat". I still use heat and ice at night.
Plus have a prescritipn for a pain patch that I've used occasionally when absolutely necessary.

Go for another injection,Hyaluronic Acid injection the 13th of May and surgeon appointment in June.

Now the bad thing is my right shoulder is going, and have an MRI scheduled for May 1 on it. Just want to see what's going on and how bad it is and hoping whatever it is we can do some prevention work on it so it won't get as bad as the left.

I am sorry to hear that it doesn't appear to be getting a lot better for you. I just hate to see you have surgery when you are alone, but I know the pain and you have to do whatever it takes to ease it. I truly wish you the best!

Surgery will be the last resort. I've heard too much from people my age who had the surgery.

Some repairs can be done laproscopy. I know you will check out the specialist in your area for the best. Is there a teaching hospital or place like Mayo or John Hopkins? Just curious
