Brutuses, Farrow & Ball has a few silver blues that are lovely - I'm just finishing up "Blackened" in my guest room. If that is too pale a colour, there are others like Lamp Room Grey and Skylight or something like that that are really beautiful silver blues. The blackened I have in my room is dead flat and yet it breaks up the light almost like it is metallic. Psst faron, C2 sucks! I swore off C2 after my two experiences with it. IMO neither the paint (particularly) nor their colors are worth the bother. I preferred Donald Kaufman which is mixed in the regular old Pratt and Lambert to C2. Have you tried F&B? Wish you and brushworks etc would do so - coz I'd love to get some tips from you paint experts on refining technique with this paint. It is really the business.

I just happen to have the chip here at home. OC 14 base 2B Primer needed P-712 under tone is listed as 'cool' It certainly doesn't appear to have any yellow tones to it, it's more a neutral. I also have a 'rich cream' chip here, it appears to have a yellow-tinge to it compared to Natural Cream. Hope this helps

I'm not feeling the yellows here either with the tile or the wood work. I actually really like the color you have on there. But, I realize that when it's time for a change, you want a change! We just re-painted our dining room from Compatible Cream by SW to Garden Shed by Martha Stewart with Behr paint. Now, I did like the Compatible Cream, which is a very creamy, beautiful yellow that you may want to try. There is an article on Houzz on "choosing paint colors with stained trim". The article stated that they thought greens looked the best with stained trim, and not yellows. That said, I have Amulet in my kitchen by BM, which is a tan with a yellow gold undertone and I think it looks great with stained trim. I also agree with the Shaker Beige and the Lenox Tan. I think a color with a cooler undertone would look good in there. That said, are you painting the trim too?
