Need Help with deck color, front door style & color and stone color
Comments (12)Agreeable Gray by sherwin williams is actually the color I would suggest! I like Pure white for the trim. For the rest of this, I am going to make a list of suggestions. tile: Baja Tecate (12x24) with sahara beige grout (matches agreeable gray wonderfully) carpet: ride it out -whisper (shaw floors) stain- weathered wood. It's a gray stain. I would do a heavy stain on shaker style cabinets. (I know you're wanting white, but this is just for thought). perhaps bathroom cabinets? cabinetry hardware: Remington with barpull hardware (something like Hickory Hardware Bar Pull in stainless steel finish) They're very clean looking, and I love having actual handles instead of the little knobs on cabinets. countertops (kitchen): viatera quarts- cirrus backsplash: Nove Hex- Steel Mix with frost grout kitchen sink: siligranite- single bowl -anthracite black (I LOVE the single bowl sinks) bathroom vanity tops and showers: gray swirl (I don't have more information on this at the moment, but I can post pictures of what I am referring to) for lighting, door knobs, faucets, etc: keep things brushed nickel and chrome...See MoreNeed Help on Entry Door, Garage Doors, and Shutters
Comments (2)A stained wood-look finish would add a lot of warmth and character to the brick. Adding windows to your garage door would brighten up the garage and make the side of the house feel more welcoming. Clopay's Gallery Collection garage doors https://www.clopaydoor.com/gallerysteel and Canyon Ridge Collection with Ultra-Grain finish https://www.clopaydoor.com/canyonridgeultragrain look amazing. They are insulated and low-maintenance so rooms above the garage will be more comfortable. If you want a painted door, check out the Coachman Collection. https://www.clopaydoor.com/coachman Clopay offers complementing fiberglass front doors so you can coordinate style and finish. https://www.clopaydoor.com/entry-door You can use our Door Imagination System to upload a photo of your home and try on different door styles to see how they look. https://www.clopaydoor.com/door-imagination-system Professional dealers are located throughout the US and Canada. https://www.clopaydoor.com/where-to-buy/residential Here are some photos submitted by homeowners. Comments (4)Very first impression is there are way too many narrow shutters and none fit the windows properly. What is not taken advantage off is the mill work over the windows. If painted the white of the windows, the windows would be lovely without the shutters. Shiny red front door….....See MorePlease help! Need design help- siding/shutters paint & door
Comments (2)I would take the shutters off. They are part of a style, but IMO they don't really work well on your house. My top choice of things to do would be to add a front porch where the front door is. I would also do some bright landscaping near the house to disguise the fact that the windows (oddly) don't line up. It would be good to have at least one big tree in the front lawn. They look to be a hallmark of the neighborhood. Mature trees help with house value. If it were me, I'd do a cream siding with maybe black detailing at the windows....See Moreluvnlife_09
