Plate Organizer for Drawer

We may decide to keep our plates in a 33" drawer.

I did a lot of searching around and found this Rev-A-Shelf system that seems to be about what we'd be looking for.

Does anyone have any experience with this product?

I didn't really find anything else that might fit our needs, but if anyone has any other suggestions, please share.

I recently went from 8 upper cabinets to TWO! Thought it would be an adjustment, but LOVE it..(did get my must have walk in pantry)In my one upper above the dishwasher I keep our glasses. My dish drawers are now directly opposite our dishwasher. I had looked for systems like you posted while building..thought I needed some organizer or system(not) but never got around to ordering.. when we moved in I just put the dishes in the drawer and found they don't move - at all! And I really like just setting them in and not putting them overhead.

I guess my point is, if you think you HAVE to have an system.. you don't.

I put mine in the island across from our dishwasher. My plates stay in there just fine w/o a system.

The Hafele dish organizer (peg board with dowels that goes in your drawer) looks like exactly what I need for my dish drawer. I don't have soft close/Blumotion and plates are sliding off the stack a little. Has anyone used this system and, more importantly, does the peg board just sit in the bottom of your drawer or do you actually replace the drawer bottom with it?

Thanks to those who have responded. I'm bumping this forward in hopes that others will answer also, especially the question of where do you get the pegboard and pegs. I plan to put fancy and fragile stuff in some of my drawers, the kinds of things I really do not want clunking around. If I decide against pegboards or if they're too pricey, I'm considering sewing long colorful quilted pads to thread between dishes, kind of like the side bumpers we used to put along the edges of infant cribs. Or would I be happier with pegs?

I've seen those before and I like the idea. I just don' tknow that it would give me the amount of overall storage that I need. My drawers tend to hold many things and I think that having them just one across for each thing with space in between them wouldn't work for me. Still, I like the idea. If only I didn't have so much stuff!

As long as you have soft-close gildes and a non-slip liner, no system is needed.
