Plumbing after a carbon block filter - copper or CPVC?

I'm installing a set of Big Blue filter housings under my kitchen sink, to have a good flow rate with icemaker/potfiller/instahot etc. Water is municipal tap water, supply and distribution lines are plumbed entirely in copper. The input to the filters is 3/4" copper. I'd like to run a 1/2" line from the outlet of the filters down to a wet bar in the basement, directly underneath the kitchen. Total run will be less than 20'.

My options for this pipe are copper and CPVC. (PEX isn't worth it for just this one run.) Which should I use? I know that if this was an RO system, I'd definitely want to use CPVC, but what about a carbon block? Which is better in this case?
