Did anyone mention Dudley Moore in "10"?!?!? (besides my first GF Bo Derrik...;-)) G(D that was funny! When he's mumbling with his mouth packed full after the dentist... The "I'll alert the media" comment from the butler, when he's gonna take a bath... The "Airplane" series... Johnny saying, "WHERE did you get those shoes...and that dresss, Ohhh!" to the distraught woman. Zoolander, Dodgeball...good stuff! "Oh my god, they're Break-dance fighting!" The Money Pit... When Tom Hanks is "caught" in the ceiling?!?!? (I think I almost "went" when that scene happened!) Beverly Hills Cop I was pretty damn funny too. Faron

Another fan here. Hubs said he can always tell when I'm watching the show on the TV in my room, from the loud laughter. In 2002 I had a bad summer with back surgert and was in the hospital for 4 months, when i got home, it was with a lot of meds, one being Zoloff (sp?) an anti-depression. One Sunday evening, I noticed I was watching AFV, just sitting there, so laughter or emotion. When I went to the Dr I asked why I was still on this pill and could I stop taking it. He said I could but had to do it gradually, whic I did. One Sunday I was watching the show, and surprised myself when I started laughing out loud, then I realized...I was back. Funny show. Dottie

What funny stories! Two of my personal favorites involve my cat. When she first adopted me, I was single and living in a "no cats allowed" apartment building. For obvious reasons, I wanted to keep her a secret. She, however, invented what she thought was a very fun game. When I would come home from work or wherever, she would make a break for the door to "escape." Once out of the door, she would run like crazy to the door at the end of the hall that led to the outside. Then she would wait for me to run after her, dodge me and then run as fast as she could back to my apartment. This game used to drive me crazy. One day, tho, she took off as per usual. Just as she reached the outer door, it opened and a person who lived down the hall came in. Scared my kitty half to death! She ran as fast as she could to me, crying all the way. Never bolted out the door again. My other memory is when we brought our 1st sheltie home. Same cat, now 12 years of spoiling later, had become quite used to being the "only." Dogs had come to visit before, but always with someone else and she never really minded, as long as they left her alone. This was different and she knew it instantly! She was lying on the couch and as soon as she saw the dog, she arched up, started screaming and hopped sideways across the living room floor. Scared our poor sheltie . . . and us . . . half to death! 5 years and another sheltie later she's quite used to the idea of sharing her house. She's still the queen bee and never lets them forget it.

Java and hhireno, in my area, Broadchurch is broadcast on BBC America, not PBS. If you have On Demand as part of your TV package, you can see if this season's episodes are on Demand. I looked here to find out how to watch it: http://www.bbcamerica.com/broadchurch/extras/where-to-watch-broadchurch/ Mairecate, not sure if I will watch Gracepoint...or at least I'll wait a bit since the story lines are similar-too many other shows I want to see first. I agree that some of the second season is a bit over the top but I like the twists and turns of the plot. Blfenton, I too prefer when the season used to run fall-spring, then summer reruns. I loved Madmen, but there is so much time between seasons that I can't remember what happened and then am lost when it starts up,again. I had a really difficult time understanding what was going on in its recent premier. I tried to go back and read previous episode summaries and still couldn't remember enough to follow the plot well.
