Houseguests don't get it...
Comments (16)now i have a serious ? for ya, is she on the same page with ya as far as her family is concerned?? i know when it comes to me and my family sometimes my hubs and i arent on the same page and at home we are, i think our pages seem to get mixed up somewhere. he has this new job and can come off as very controlling, his job is a prison guard so he brings it home, i also happen to be a controlling person, when it comes to things i want, (i'm getting to it, LOL) like here, i want to keep the ac off, he wants it on, so he can sleep in the days (he works nights), i like the lower bills AND the idea of how the less energy used. he wants the dryer fixed, i'm happy using the washer only, and hanging the clothes. i know where i can get a dryer that works for 50. don't want it cuz its still cheaper on bills and less energy wasted. we are not on the same page BUT he kinda lets me do my thing. and he knows i want to go green, and is letting me, SLOWLY even though he likes to be very comfortable, sorta. i homeschool and the kids decided that part of it is to go and recycle and learn all they can about it and keep doing that, they want to "go green" so my son tabor (12) made me a compost pile, ummmm getting back to the other thing,, LOL is she on the same page?? i'd totally be ticked if my family members did that, inlaws or not, if i made breakfast!! i can see where you'd be irritated. i think i would too. but look on the bright side, or i like to always try to look at the good part, its annoying that they dont follow your rules, BUT as tom said, you do get to visit them, so you could just go ahead and look at it as a weird quirk of theirs or something. instead of them being rude and disrespectful. kinda like the glass half full instead of half empty! LOL i try to do that. very hard at times. LOL :')) Medo Good luck...See MoreIf you don't ovulate, you don't make progesterone

For the record, please let it be understood NPAN DOES NOT recommend women use medication other than how it is prescribed by your treating physician. Comments (37)When you look into the facts of dishwashers, a lot of people have quit using them. Of course there's a place for them, and PROPERLY USED they can be a valuable tool. But therein lies the problem. So many people think they can put them in there, then try to save money by turning down their electric water heaters to the point that Legionella can grow. Then they use that underheated and bacteria-infested water in their dishwasher to splash day-week old food around, not totally unlike a petri dish, and then disable the dryer to save money on the economy cycle and sit in there until the next use. Now anyone who has even basic grade school science background may remember that bacteria grows well in warm, moist surroundings. Hmm. Where would that be? There's a lot of differing opinions out there. I've read many of the arguments on both sides of this and have formed my own opinions. Hand washing properly can be better than machined improperly and vice-versa. But to say you won't get sick using a dishwasher isn't using much common sense but I certainly understand the sales pitch. I haven't had a (mechanical) dishwasher in over 25 years. The doctor visits I've had were primarily for broken bones and other things that certainly were not caused by handwashing dishes. If you like dishwashers, good for you and enjoy using them. Just don't get caught up with all the misinformation that is available on the internet. The internet, like the dishwasher, PROPERLY USED, can be a valuable tool, but there's so much misinformation out there, plus outright lies that believing everything can cause you a lot of trouble. And Dorothy is certainly not spam. A couple seconds of checking, even just looking at a member page should have removed that question. But some just seem to want to......See MoreI don't trust future son-in-law, what should I do?
Comments (14)I'm sorry to tell you these things, but I think he's a dangerous person to be around and I would not have him visiting in my home. He's already hurting people but masks it by the silly-factor. But he's hurting them just like he hurt you. That was not funny! :( I think the age difference in itself is a huge concern, this is not a healthy relationship in any way. Maybe she likes to feel needed and he needs a mother (although probably more so just want someone to take advantage of), and maybe it makes her feel young and attractive that a young stud wants HER! But this is supposed to be an upcoming marriage, not an adoption of a troubled child. Ask her if she really believes in her heart that he will be a great husband in the long run, and will be there for her, supporting her and protecting, helping her in daily life and when life gets rough (he isn't, even now...) And will he be a fantastic father of her children, loving and protecting them, be a strong role model, guide, teacher of good and bad, give them healthy boundaries, help them grow up and mature to one day be responsible, healthy, independent adults? I don't think so. Definitely try to help her, but realize she may or may not listen. Some women (and men) will go ahead and make a poor choice even with all the warnings in the world. This marriage (if it happens) will not end well. I personally know so many who were warned not to marry a certain person, did it anyway, and have had nothing but problems. See if you can get her to read 10 stupid things women do to mess up their lives by Dr. Laura Schlessinger, that might open her eyes to the danger of what's she's doing. It may be all cute to her now, but later on she'll need a MAN. This guy is a boy at best. A predator, perhaps (probably). I'm very sorry, and I hate telling you these things because I know it will make your heart hurt so badly! I'd love to give you reassurance that it will be just fine. But I think you already know. So now, just work at reaching her. Definitely try your best to help her see that a huge life decision such as a marriage is worth pushing back to make sure she's making the right decision. Hopefully in that time she'll realize the mistake of being with him. All the best to you and your daughter!!! (((HUG)))...See Morepopi_gw
