Regarding freezing sweet corn

Hawk responded that my method of "KISS" freezing sweet corn with the husks on and no blanching worked fine. After a few months in the freezer, soak it in water till thawed, remove husks and silk, boil for a few minutes or cook with husks/silk on the grill after soaking.

We just had more of ours last night and it was a sweet as fresh (and not mushy at all as is sometimes a problem with cleaning and blanching before freezing.)

Any other experiences with this method?
