I love you kitchen and the pulls are very nice that you you currently have. I can not see your sink and faucet in the picture. What color is your faucet? I like to match my faucet with the hardware. I like the pulls you have selected as well. Number 3 is similar to what you have. If you want a change you might like #1 or #2.

This my faucet. It is oil rubbed bronze. Pull #1 is oil rubbed bronze & the other pulls are brushed dark ant. copper, which matches pretty close. Thanks!

I really like pull #1. It's different yet unobstrusive. Pull #2 is ok. To me, pull #3 looks sorta weird - the dark finish doesn't go with the airy look of the curlique-like edges.

I think it would be neat to find one in ORB and copper. I know your pain of a limited selection due to size. We were in the same situtation when we replaced ours. We were fortunate b/c we have several specialty hardware stores in our area. Number one looks silver on my screen- how does it compare to the tones in your faucet?

gracie-2006 - I think it is a bad pic of the pull - it is actually darker than pull #2. I actually bought 1 of the pull #2 & put it on one of my cabinets - It matches the bronze colored light fixtures more, my faucet is quite dark.

I saw pull #1 (diff manufacturer I think) and fell in love with it. I just love the lines and the feel. Sadly, Hubby did not like it at all. (Too fussy for his tastes and he didn't like the feel of the ridges on the bar.)

Pull #2 has similar lines to your faucet. Also, It think it would feel most comfortable to your hand.

Another vote for #2. I also agree that the style matches well with that of the faucet.

I don't know very much about design, but I know what I like when I see it....and for me, it was #2 instantly. Something seemed so right with the faucet!

I have your #2 in the size made for refrigerator doors. I have three of them in the antique pewter, I believe (it's been over a year since I bought them and I can't remember what they called that finish). They're very sustantial and fit nicely in my hand, which was very important to me. I didn't want a kitchen full of pretty knobs and pulls that were uncomfortable to use. Have you tried them all yourself yet? I'd really advise that you do before you buy. When we were choosing all the stuff for our kitchen reno last year, I was shocked to find that my top two hardware choices were actually very uncomfortable to use. And, since I'm cooking every day in there, I wasn't about to do that to myself.

I like #1 and #2, but think that #2 would best complement the lines of your faucet and overhead light fixture.

Another vote here for #2, because of the complementary lines that others have already mentioned. It just "fits". :)

How are you doing with your valances?

My choice is #1, but I agree you need to look at the faucet and other hardware in the room to decide which one goes best.

I found these birdcage pulls in bronze in the 3 3/4" size, aftering searching everywhere online. What do you all think of these?

moonkat- thanks for asking! It's not going very well with the valances. I received fabric samples from a couple of the valances & neither one really felt like it was the right one, so I'm still looking! Not sure what I'm looking for, but still searching none the less!! LOL!!!

I like the first one, but I think that the second echoes the shape of the faucet and the arms of the wall-mounted fixture over the counter.

The birdcage pulls are okay, but the ends look abrupt to me. I would almost want some kind of backplate or something for them.
