0% interest credit card deal gone wrong....

This is just nuts. DH had a 0% offer for the life of the loan....he compiled everything and asked to borrow $7,600

dollars for a credit card transfer. They approved him, and transferred $70,600.00. Holy Moley.

They cannot transfer it back without charging him like 10%.

HELLO?

How nuts is this? They know it was their mistake, but cannot rectify it. It is now his money, how scary is that?

They will cut him a check in the amount of $70,600.00 minus the $7,600 balance that he originally asked to process.

Of course he will pay the money back to the lender, but think about it. How bad could something like this go?

That is a load of change !

Just had to share, as I am still shaking my head.

Has anybody had anything similar happen like this?

Trin
