Tips for a Pressure Cooker

I just bought my first Pressure Cooker, an 8-quart. Before I bought it, I had never even seen one before, so I know little to nothing about them. It is Cooks brand, marked down at Macy's from $100.00 to $37.00. I was hoping for some tips about using it. I've used it twice for chicken, and the meals were fantastic! I checked out 3 books from the library, and only liked one of them, that's where the recipes came from. I have a question. When it starts to bobble and you turn it down, do you find you turn it to the same temperature for everything you cook? Like a 10 minute chicken will require the same temp as a 60 min brisket? And, when you do turn it down, do you adjust it accordingly or can you generally leave it at the same temp the entire cooking time?? Thanks for any tips!! Right now I'm cooking a Corned Beef.....and I can't wait!!!! Christy :)
