I haven't done much picture-posting, but I know that as long as the picture is on the web, you can put it's address in the "Optional Link URL" space under the "Message" box when you post. I'm assuming you have a digital camera with pictures loaded into your computer.
You need to open an account with a photo sharing site. Photobucket is a good one if you want to post pictures on this or other sites. With Webshots, for example, you can only give a link to the picture.So......
Go to Photobucket.com and open a free account. The site will guide you as to how to upload your photos into an album.
Once you've made an album you can copy pictures and post them in forums like this one. Under each picture at Photobucket there are 3 boxes. One says TAG. You would then highlight the contents within that box and copy it, then paste into the body of your message. It's simple once you see what you're doing.

Copy the blue 'address', highlighted in the middle box labled Tag, and past in the message box.

Copy the 'address' in the top box, labled Url and past it in the 'Optional Link URL:' box that is below the message box AND enter something in the 'Name of the Link:'
