I'm 62 and getting Invisaligns...

My appt. is tonight. It's going to change all my habits besides correcting my teeth and bite. I'm at home all day and consume coffee, tea and snacks whenever I want. Now, I'll have to remove the Invisaligns, eat/drink, then brush my teeth and put the Invisaligns back in.

Back in the 60's the local dentist who removed my wisdom teeth decided to pull the left lower canine tooth, too. It protruded and he said he'd pull it so that if I ever got hit in the mouth, it wouldn't split my lip. Well, every dentist since then has pitched a major fit because you never pull an anchor tooth, they say. The years go by and my teeth shift to compensate for the missing tooth and if I don't get correction now, I'm likely to get TMJ.

I was reluctant to get them at my age, and the dentist and others kept saying it won't be that big a deal. I know that...I'd just rather spend that money on a trip to the islands...LOL!!
