joannemb, thank you for the reply. I'm not looking for anything bold. Just something simple. I do like the Dolphin Fin.

The carpet will be the same as rest of house. Which is a cut (california) berber that is an off-white/beige with specks of dark throughout.

More suggestions are welcome.

Gee, with such a neutral carpet, you could really have some fun. I would go vibrant orange, or a medium plum, or maybe pale gray with a white wash, so that the walls look sort of like clouds. Something like this, but with a gray that is cooler, like the color in your bedspread.

I'd pick the color from that warmer greige stripe, towards the bottom of the pillow. Take the pillow to a paint store and see what matches or ask someone who works there. Our BM store has a color consultant on staff. I'd probably pick the wider lighter stripe, or something between that and the narrower stripe. (Maybe something like BM Collingwood)
Then I would use some pops of color for pillows, lamps, art, in a color that you like (blue, red, teal, green, whatever).

Do you want the room to feel quiet or cheerful or something else? I see you are partially color blind. What colors do you see or not see?

i agree with nosoccermom about matching the greige stripe in the pillow bottom would look really nice...
if you went with gray, you'd have to get the right shade for both the bedding and carpet which could be tricky...

i also think a bold, bright color could look great, but that would be a totally different look...

Where did you find the bedspread? I love it! I think it would look great with my gregge walls, FYI.
