Pattico just made my day! (2pics)

A few weeks ago we were discussing Nora Roberts books, I just love her writting. Thought I'd read almost every book written by her. I was wrong! LOL Pattico very kindly offered to mail me the books she had. There are a whole slug of them!! I opened the box of books and first I take out the cutest little bag ever! I have heard of Patti's bags too and they are special!!

Then flip it around and find not one, but 3 of Patti's famous bookmarks!

What a day brightner!!

The sweetness of our KT'ers never ceases to amaze me! I can tell you this first hand too, there is lots of talented peeps here! LOTS!

The bag is almost too nice to use! But I will! I can take it when we go in the car, or I think I could even use it as a purse. I know one thing for sure, I will have to hide it from Madison! She's like her Gramma, loves bags! LOL

The bag is denim and fabric inserts of green and topped with pink ruffles. Isn't it adorable?

Here is the back with a real pocket and two of the bookmarks....the other is already in a book! LOL

Thank you SO much Patti! I am surprised and a happy girl here in ND today!!!!

Jodi, See where the lable is, there is a 3 sided opening under that. It opens like a door. Just cut the 3 sides with an exacto knife. Flip it back and put the stuff in. I put a strip of packing tape over it then taped the lable over that. You can't see the slits until the lable is removed. Since he is 6, I really wanted to put something to embarrass him a bit, like a pair of underwear. I settled for sox. I put in small toys and dollars and change, and some candy. The person who introduced this on here, sent it in the mail, without wrapping it (just the lable.)

Thanks so much for the reminder. This is the first time I've ever forgotten. I have small flags in our front yard. I used to always have a flag on a pole, but because of the design of this house I don't have a pole extending from the house. I've made a note to have a pole put into the ground this fall. The reason I'm waiting til then is because I am going to plant some trees then and the utility company will have to come mark the yard so I'll know where the wires are. I've already talked to a man who installs flag poles. Linda

Leslie, what a beatuiful family! Don't worry about Jayden until after his hearing test. He may just not be ready to talk. We worried about my nephew for a few years. He'll be six next month. Now we can't shut him up! For him, he had two sisters, that were fifteen and seventeen when he was born. They did all the talking for him. They never shut up, either! He never needed to talk. Now they've both moved out in the last couple of years and what a difference! Something that might help is, when you ask him if he wants something, ask in a way that requires an answer. Don't ask if he wants some milk. Ask him if he wants a drink. If he answers yes in his usual way, then ask what he wants. Don't give him the answer in the question. Find something that he's REALLY interested in. Evan's thing is animals of all kinds. He even knew stuff his preschool teacher didn't. She didn't believe him when he corrected her about where one lived. He went home and told his parents what she had said, they went online and printed the info for him to take to school the next time. He is one smart little boy, and Jayden is too. He'll be talking in no time, then you'll wish he was quiet again! Tami

I have of couple of Patti's bags too. I love them. One holds my binoculars & camera, and haul them to the river in it. The other I take my clothes and meds in.

Now that is clever! I love the pocket for the bookmarks! I am a sucker for a bag, pouch, etc. DH goes nuts when I tell him "it's in the pocket of the bag" ....he says what bag? You have tons! I love them. Cameras, books, magazines, ipods...they all need special bags! This one is cute though, nice!!
