How did you like the Super Bowl commercials?

I don't watch the Super Bowl, but I enjoy the commercials. So I'm watching them now, on AOL.

So far I had a good laugh from the Doritos "Snow Globe," enjoyed Pepsi's "Forever Young, and intensely disliked Audi's violent one (although the car was gorgeous). I thought the Bud Light business meeting commercial was mildly amusing.

My favorite was the circus pony and Clydesdale horse. I laughed out loud actually at the end! It just cracked me up when the 2 horses stood there in the end watching the circus pony run off with the Clydesdale and one says I didn't know Daisy was dating! Hilarous and sweet!

I don't enjoy the violent ones at all. Didn't watch the entire game, so can't judge those.

I did think the Pepsi one was very clever and guess I'll always enjoy the Clydesdale ones.

The movie previews shown were more entertaining to me than the majority of the commercials I did see.

oh Manitou Springs what a blast from my past! I love that town too, I used to drive there a lot just to hang out. Such a pretty place and fun. Have not been there in years and probably will never make it back. Yesterday I loaded my slow cooker with my pulled pork stuff and let it cook all day so we could have sandwiches for dinner. Hubby watched some of the game, we both tried to catch most of the commercials. I sat in my chair and played with my tablet surfing various sites and reading. I had bought some pantry storage cabinets so we put one of those together for my kitchen, it will be well needed storage. That pretty much covers it .

We never watch the Superbowl. Or the Canadian version: The Grey Cup. Unless Calgary is playing and even that's not a promise. It's just another Sunday for me. I need to shower and get my bedding washed. I just took 12 eggs out of the oven. I baked them scrambled with onions and ham in large muffin cups to take one a day for breakfast, to work. They're just cooling on the counter right now before I pop them out of the cups. Other than that, not sure what I want to do. I bought a bucket of paint to paint my hallway, but I need to be in the mood to do that. I'm so not in the mood....

Joyful, I think it would have been about 6:30 PM starting time Eastern. I had no interest in it this year. This year it was one of those games where I would like to see both teams lose. I didn't even turn on the TV until about 9PM. I went to Menards and picked up a bunch of bargains. I knew it would be a good time to go to the stores. When I was in retail it would be packed until the game starts then pretty empty. I didn't get going until about 6 and when I pulled into the lot I thought, oh shoot, they must close at 6 on Sundays instead of 8 as I thought! But no, it was that empty. Took me until closing time to get everything, get checked out and a couple of the employees helped me get the rebate slips and then one of the employees helped me bring the stuff to my vehicle and load it! Granted it was so he could bring the cart back in - obviously they wanted to get finished and go home - can't blame them for that. He was real friendly. Said I was one of "about 10 customers" in there this evening! I told him I used to be in retail and knew it was a good time to shop. And AFAIC the commercials have gotten worse over the years so it's not worth watching for them. Plus you usually see them played over and over on the news the next few days and I suppose if there's a good one someone will be posting a few threads on it and I can watch it on the internet! :)

I just saw the end of one for homeaway or something like that the end had a baby being slammed against a window or what was supposed to be the screen disgusting. I heard you can vote on the commercials after the game at their wesite . This one should be outlawed imho

I must be easily amused, because I laughed at most of the ones that were meant to be funny. Loved the Grease Monkeys and the Clydesdale that fetched. What a beautiful horse!

Well, I've been at this a while, and I've only reached the end of the first quarter. Time to take a break from commercials and get some work done. :-)

I watched the game, but didn't see all the commercials. I wasn't impressed by any of the ones that I did see.

I don't watch the game either but do watch the commmercials the next day. My favorite was the Clydesdale and Daisy one.

I didn't see any commercials yesterday because I was at a party, but I recorded the game and I will watch the commercials later today when I have some time.

Always the Clydesdale ones. I liked the "Fetch" one
best.

The only American ones that were shown here were the Budweiser with the Clydesdales. I'm glad, because I loved them! I thought the one where he fetched was the cutest!!

I liked the Clydesdale one and the Heroes football. I missed a lot of them, but the majority of the ones I did see weren't very impressive IMO.

We laughed at all of them. I love the e-trade babies with the "golden pipes" and the Doritos ads. Even though I don't really appreciate the promotion of alcohol to my kids, we love the "Drink-ability" ads. Of course my teen-age son LOVES the Go-Daddy ads. I'm a HUGE Jason Statham fan so I loved the Audi ad!

I thought they were all really funny.
