I have not watched a football game in over 30 years so I see no need to start today

Nope. I've often thought it would be fun to watch with friends IF I understood the game. But I don't, and attempts over the years to teach me have failed. All I really know about football is that one team wins and the other loses. So I'll be home doing some rug hooking and watching something less physical on Netflix. :-)

PS: I have enjoyed the fan mentality at times, though. Years ago I was really into figure skating (watching, not doing). I "knew" all the skaters and had my favorites, as did some of my friends, and that made it a lot of fun to watch.

You bet we will, Sleeperblues! Our Steelers didn't make it this year (nor did they deserve to do so) but I'll be cheering on the Giants, another fan of the Mannings. Friends are coming over and we'll watch it together.

No. Never liked football. Only went to High School games because that is what everybody did. Never understood the game; I just stood up and cheered when every body on my side did. Watched when my DGS played in High School. Didn't like to see him get wallowed around out there, even though he was the tallest guy on the team.

Now, watching a bunch of rich guys scrambling around in the mud, rain, snow or hot sunshine doesn't excite me either.

Really? I thought they were both very good. I loved Blake & Miranda, especially their harmonies. And I thought Kelly nailed it, that it was one of the best.

I'm in the den w/ DH b/c it's cold and we have a fire in the fireplace. I have the laptop on my lap and the TV is on, but I couldn't care less. Wayne did say one of the players went to HS here in Tyler, but I have no idea who he is. Nope!! I'm just here b/c of the crackling fire!!

Maybe I'll watch half time! But the puter is better entertainment.

I know I wont watch all of the half time show but will peek in. I liked the dog doing exercises commercial. I understand the commercials cost in the millions. Some people watch just for the commercials. It feels like a really fast game the first half being over already.

I know nothing about football; don't ever watch on TV, been to 1 live game -- I was forced to go! Still don't know exactly what I saw, except a LOT of people walking around instead of watching the game.

But I'm watching the Super Bowl for the commercials. And waiting for "The Voice" to come on.

Madonna's on now. (I'm on a slight delay cuz I had to rewind the Tivo a few times.) Oops -- she lost her balance near a railing and bobbled (those are some high heels on her boots!).

She's still good, but not such an exciting performance. A lot of her songs pieced together. Guest appearance by Cee-lo Green. Madonna gets bonus points for looking great -- she's 50, no?
