Back in hospital-need prayers again

My poor DH Vic is back in the hospital. He has MS and was hospitalized Jan 3 to Jan 27. Then yesterday (Sat, Feb 12) he fell down the stairs and bumped the back of his head. The Visiting Nurse was here and said he needed to go back into the hospital. So I called an ambulance and he's been re-admitted for tests (CAT scan and MRI) and intravenous treatment with steroids and antibiotics. He was running a fever and apparently has a UTI. (Urinary Tract Infection). Plese say a prayer that he'll recover quickly and be able to come home soon. He's still on therapy home visits from the January hospitalization. I'll be visiting him today and will report back.

Oh dear, you must be so distressed. I do hope this does not turn out to be another long stay. He must have been so happy to be home. Very best wishes. Take care.

The two of you have been on my mind and I am sure many others here. I and we send our good wishes for continued health for George and you too Leone. It may be a bit selfish of us but we all look forward to the wonderful stories and glimpses into your lives. There is an endearing simplicity that comes through in all of your posts over the years meaning both of you. As Jan indicates we would be there to help if it was possible, useful and appropriate. Hi Guys, It just hasn't been my day, my week or even my year.........I will live.....and I am at the point that I'm about to rip my hair out. As Lani told you all I was in a very bad accident. Three cars totalled and me in the middle of it all....at this point all I can say is it could have been worse............My 3 year old was not in the truck with me. I have facial fractures and had 60 stiches in my face, inside and out. I was lucky not to lose my eye.....I look bad, but I will live.....I will SEE ALL OF YOU on the 21st..........This little girl hit me hard....she said she was only doing about 15 miles an hour, the paremedic told her that if that was all she was doing, then her airbag would not have exploded. i was in the trauma unit for 12 Hours at the med....I had to take a week off of work.....the doctor wanted me to take two: Bills don't get paid that way. Ann, Yep I was on bed rest with Hayden, but it was 10 weeks of contractions. With the contractions it was just more of aproblem with my bein in pain and not a threat with the baby. With the high blood presure and protein in my urine it is hard on the baby. I have been on bed rest and also blood pressure meds my blood pressure has still been higher than they want. We go in for a check tomorrow ( if we don't get the 10 inches of snow and 55 mph winds they are talking about) and they will do an amnio on Friday to see if the baby is ready. The kids are all at my folks and I miss them so much, but bed rest is impossible with 3 little helpers. Stacie

What a disappointment to have to return to the hospital. I'm glad he's receiving good care, though, and hope he'll be back home--to stay--soon.

I saw him today, he's a lot better and coming home tomorrow if all is well. I did bring him some chocolate dipped strawberries, which he liked.
