washer/dryer, rubber sheet + plywood to reduce vibration?

I have a Samsung washer and dryer that is on a ceramic tiled floor. Due to space considerations, the dryer has to be stacked on top of the washer.

The house is old and the floor itself is not level and pitches downwards (towards the front of the machines).

I'm trying to reduce as much vibration as possible. Here is what I was thinking:

  1. 1/4" neoprene rubber sheet on top of the ceramic tile.
  2. 1-1/4" plywood on top of the rubber sheet screwed into the subfloor.
  3. Finally, those Kellet anti-vibration pads underneath the legs of the machine.

Does this make sense? I don't mind drilling through the tile. Should I try and shim the plywood so the floor is level? The pitch is a bit steep.
