I have 4 different varieties of the Sears...someone stop by with a truck and you can tak99% of it. I can't use all of this. I have never had a problem with this stuff disolving in my TL'ers. But I generally use hot water. I've heard complaints of it not disolving in cold and dubbed down warm. I've only used it 4 times in my Duet (I love saying my duet) all with hot water and again no disolving issues. I would just pre disolve it before adding it to the machine if its giving you problems, seems like a pain but it will only take a minute. Jody I think you need to stop by and grab a few hundred pounds of mine to add to your stash. LOL. I do plan to sell the vast majoriy of mine But will keep maybe 5 pounds of each. I really like it used with Wisk, STPP & Pure sodium percarbonate, Sins recipe..it does a fantastic job on whites and bedding. Have you tried that yet? Ajaynes2...I must have missed it..what machine do you have?

The size of your dose will depend on how hard or soft your water is, how dirty your clothes are, etc. You might try the suggested dose for a medium size load. If the laundry doesn't seem clean enough, then use more the next time. I tried the Kirkland's/Costco liquid, a couple years ago, and noticed the larger dose for "he" machines than top load. That made absolutely no sense to me. I gave away the detergent. It gets good ratings for cleaning, in that popular consumer's magazine, but I won't support a company that has dosing on their label that suggests twice as much for a 'he' washer that uses a fraction of the amount of water.

I would like to hear how well these pouches work and how well the detergent can be rinsed out of the clohtes. Their web site says that the pouches give just the right amount of cleaning...something like that. How do they know how much detergent I will need for a small lightly soiled load? How about a large load that has heavy soil. You surely don't need the same amount of detergent for both of these types of loads.

I finally recieved my order of Perwoll Black Magic. I was happy with the results, my clothes came out clean and maybe even a bit darker than when they went in. I only noticed a few suds on the surface of the glass door of my front loader. Measuring is kinda difficult, the cap doesn't have increments on it - and the instructions give you the 'dose' in ml for three levels of dirt, and three levels of water softness. I have soft water - and used a cap and a half and was happy with the result. I will probably just use a capfull from now on. Seems expensive, but so is replacing faded clothes. I'll be looking for a better deal than what I got from Amazon. Kroger does special orders, so I hope i can get it from them. Oh - and the Persil link...both perwoll and Persil are made by the same company. Perwoll is their product for delicate washings...sorta like woolite is here. Hope that helps. -Noah. p.s. I did not detect any odor on my clothes after they came out of thy dryer as one poster on Amazon mentioned. It may be that the front loader rinses so well.
