He doesn't need a wife that can cook. He is a good cook. Although, Dana is a good cook too. But she is happy I think to let Matt do most of the cooking. And Dana can bake.

I am so sure that he recognizes how fortunate he is to have such a talented cook so eager to spoil. Looking at the pictures, I would think he would be enticed to move closer to home.

I'm quite sure that Matt is happy to let you cook for him, although he's quite capable of doing it himself. Sometimes it's just nice to spoil your family members with great meals, just because.

Isn't that what sons (and daughters - and grandchildren) are for? My older son stayed with me for 5 days during my recent knee surgery, but I was unable to cook for him and didn't really feel like eating much myself. :o(

I would have loved if my mother could have cooked like you. I find the Chicken Souvlaki particularly attractive, and I have not made that myself yet. Must put it on my list. I also like green peppercorns - maybe I could make that sauce for chicken.

Cathy, Matt does live close by. Less than an hour down Island so I can pretty much see him any time. But is nice when he comes up to stay for more than just a day or two. We drove him home today.

Sorry Mom and Kate, one kid and one husband is enough. LOL!

Thanks Annie. I think you would like the Sugar cream pie. But it is very sweet. Not sure I would like it as much though without the non traditional whipped cream and coconut topping.
