Nothing exciting at this address. I had McD's coupons so had a fish sandwich, a bowl of homemade chicken rice soup, and a strawberry sundae.

Cold here, this morning it was 14 & only got to 34 today.

Went grocery shopping this morning & the store is moving the food dept. all around. My grocery list was made up so I can go through the store with out back tracking. Well not today. Hope they are through before I go again next month.

I made a pan of ziti bake yesterday so we had the rest for dinner.

My meal was very exciting, at least for me. We had lunch out with friends, so didn't need much supper. Planned on yogurt and maybe a banana perhaps. That is till daughter dropped by on her way from an appointment in Pittsburgh. She brought me a loaf of Laurel Mountain Herb bread from Loafers Bakery. It is bread to die for. So I had jelly bread, then I had a piece with peanut butter, and another piece with nothin' on it. I will have more for a snack later. I have no idea what dh ate.

Loafers is a small Pittsburgh area chain. Paneras doesn't come close to it for their wonderful variety of breads. The Laurel Mountain Herb is my all time favorite. Daughter used to mail me a loaf now and then when we lived in Michigan. If that bread is in the house in a plastic bag, you can still smell it in every room, and I am in heaven.

Scrambled eggs, an english muffin and OJ. Pretty exciting, huh?

Gadgets you ate pretty healthy, for a McD. Good for you!

Mary, do you only shop once a month? I try to cut back, but there's always something in the fliers that I need.

Gazania, nothing like awesome bread. I love fresh bread with just butter on it.

Dedtired, sometimes breakfast is just the thing, for dinner.

Well it is Thursday..so that should be breakfast...but we were supposed to have burgers yesterday...and got home to late..so burgers on the grill tonight..

A salad made with mixed greens and Napa cabbage, turkey breast and fresh apples. We often eat salad for dinner during the week because neither of us likes a heavy meal at night. I've been craving pizza, so we may go out this weekend sometime. Costco had Skinny Pop back in stock this week, so I imagine we will have a little snack later. That stuff is so addictive.

I stopped by the hospital on my way home to drop off a packet for work. One of the ladies there told me there was an accident on the bridge between where we work and where we live. Because traffic was so bad, DH & I decided to eat in town and wait for it to get better. We went to a Greek place. I had chicken with hummus and spanakopita. He had beef with spanakopita and salad.

Fun2 was on our wavelength....a mixed green salad with extra baby kale, cukes, manderine oranges, toasted almonds, fresh cooked garbanzos. I made a batch of pumpernickle croutons at Robert's request.

I had to look up Skinny Pop....sounds good!

We had pancakes. DH had a little bacon with his. My manager at work had given me a bottle of raspberry syrup. I tried it tonight and it was very good.

We had fresh salmon in a lime dill sauce, cilantro rice and a salad for dinner. There is enough salmon that everyone gets salmon for lunch along with a salad..

Burgers are good any time Terri!

Fun and Rhizo your salads sounds scrumptious. I should eat them more through the week, as a main course. Never heard of Skinnypop before, Fun.

Can't go wrong with Greek, Kittie. Sounds great.

Cheryl, pasta for us, and pizza for you. A little Italian was on the menu tonite it seems.

If I had had some of Laura's salmon, I would have sliced some on our salads! But we like going meatless every once in awhile.

Burger was good..

I "seasoned" the meat with a little buttermilk and Worcestershire, garlic and onion powder, black pepper and salt. It's based on a Nigella recipe. She does the two liquids with chopped onion jam. I don't have onion jam..so I just add the dry seasonings.

My supper was some hot chicken salad, cottage cheese with fresh blueberries and a cup of hot cocoa.

Got a text to please pick up something on my way home, and since we needed milk anyway, I stopped at the grocery store.

Got a bag of light ceasar salad mix and some chicken tenders from the deli. Pretty good.
