You've posted repeatedly about this, and have been offered advice on what to try or do. Have you followed any of the advice?

You do have a mechanical household water softener? Softened water (0 grains hardness) does present more of a challenge in rinsing. Try 1 TEASPOON of detergent. That sounds like a pitifully small amount that couldn't clean anything ... but try it anyway.

You've not said what kind of washer you had previously.

If you have washed the same towels three times per week for however many times through, *without* detergent, and are still seeing suds, then the suds may due to an extreme amount of detergent residue left in the towels from your previous machine. Or maybe it's residue from whatever is the product you use for showering/bathing?

Are you sure the rinse water in the washer is *SOAPY* ... or are there merely bubbles from stirring it up?

The easiest way to include pictures in a post is get a free photo sharing account at any of the online services that offer it. Upload your pictures there. View the picture(s) you want to include, and for each one the sharing service should provide a URL / HTML code that can be copied and pasted into the GardenWeb post. When previewing your GardenWeb post, you will see the picture if you have pasted the URL correctly. If you don't see the picture in the preview, then it's not right.

I have posted alot on this same issue I know, but one of my last posts someone mentioned to try to specifically ask for those who have a Duet 9200, DO YOU?? I am trying to find out all those who have a problem with them!!

YES I have tried the other advice that people share and I appreciate it all! As you can see it hasn't worked.

Yes I have a water softner.

I have tried to say what washer I had before it was Frigidair 7 yrs, no water issue there except sometimes I would put too much soap in it and I would have to do another rinse! And the struts kept breaking because they were cheap plastic and only had 2. and than it started smelling moldy, so I wanted a new nice one that I could do alot of wash at one time, I was also told by the techs, to not try to do anymore than a TL in my new FL because it will ruin the rubber seal, and it wont wash good, they told me that it is misrepresentation on WP part by making that claim. I should have kept the Frigidair and tried to get rid of the smelly mold.

I have used as little as an 1/8 of a tbl, less than 1 tsp,

I am sure that the water is soapy because when you take the towels out and they are stiff & crackly sounding you know that there are not just bubbles.
I dont believe it is from showering or bathing, I do rinse off well after! I would have had to never rinsed the soap off for months for it to be that much.

I will try to show some pictures, and Im sorry that I keep repeating myself, but I need the help from others that are having the same problem, I know that they are out there.

I do not have a Duet, of any model. But I have read through the service manual for GWH9100/9200 and have enough understanding about these machines, and washers in general, to know that there is no way to get your machine to fill with more water without modifying the computer board programming, or the water level pressure switch, or the flowmeter, or related components. In other words, you'd have to hack-and-crack into the machine's electronics & control system to make it do something it's not designed to do.

You've had two specimens, both have worked the same way.

You are asking people on an Internet message board to diagnose an issue from afar, with no way to observe the situation directly. If you are finding suds left in the machine after running it through the cleaning cycle with bleach (*no clothes* and *no detergent*), then there's some sort of extenuating circumstance happening. Perhaps something that you are overlooking, but that an observer watching you, your laundry habits, and the machine might would see immediately. A service tech is unlikely to take the time to watch through multiple loads, a cleaning cycle, etc. He has a slate of calls to finish over the course of the day, and likely will only take the time to confirm that the machine itself is working to engineered parameters. I would *love* to come by your house and see what's happening ... but you are *there* and I am *here*.

I totally understand that it sounds like I must be doing something wrong, that is why I waited for 5 months before I even called whirlpool, I have never used a soap that was not HE I even found and have been using Bleach HE.

I thought I was doing something wrong until I tried everything I could think of to fix the problem.

I am asking people that have that machine if they are having the same problem, Im not asking for a diagnosis! and I had a tech here for an hour doing different cycles and watching the twisting of the clothes happening, he also saw all the suds and didnt know what to think, except to check the drain and the pump, he found no problem.

Like I said there are alot of people out there with the same problem, I was just hoping to find someone here that was going thru the same thing.

I have to wonder why you even read this if you dont have a duet?

I don't have a Duet, but I did an internet search on your machine after posting on the other thread. You are not the only one who has had this problem.

I can't say it is a widespread problem, though. The reviews I did read did not give much detail as to water condition and products used in the machine, so it makes it still yet difficult to tell if it is the machine or something else going on.

Do and internet search of "Whirlpool Duet 9200 reviews" as I did and maybe that will help. I think most of the reviews list the reviewers location somewhere too if that helps. Maybe bum machines are being sold in one concentrated area or by one specific store.
