um... Did you actually try contacting brian thru email? ive never had much trouble any of his plants, some are magnificent, but ive heard his customer service is great... It seems borderline inappropriate to dig up an old thread and slam a reputable seller, and head it like a letter directed to brians mail. I doubt seriously he will read your remark, but certainly his customers or potential costumers will, whats your objective? ive also got to say hes been really nice to me personally, breeds great plants, that i love and so few people work with or release new varieties. in regards to an expensive mistake...without even asking what you bought i can garantee brians price was better than 90% of his competition. Competition that are selling his ppaf plants... Shipping is awful but not his fualt, he combines and packs well. Im lucky hes in my backyard! Im planning a trip as soon as I can manage it! no S/H :D Ill leave with more than I plan to buy and need to come back and get more... seriously kathryn this is gardenweb not brians site, instead of slandering him here (at the briansbotanicals fan club lol) have courtesy to let the seller make things right in private, it seems likely the problem may not have been the plants...

Sure enough...everytime I post something on Craigslist, or even randomly, I get those stupid things....not the deaf mother, but the scammers.... I sold Sarah Coventry in the late '70's..I rec'd a letter in the mail saying that this man had got my name and wanted to order, could I send him a book. I thought sure..yeah...never see that again...he was in a larger town 25 mi. away... I actually got a rather large And I thought I had wasted a sales catalog.... Now the scammers would put a real customer to shame having to prove their innocence...

Okay, I have to admit, I'm confused by what you got for your migraine. Why didn't he treat it there, and why didn't he give you an abortive med (immitrix, relpax, etc). And oh so much more. Now I'm not saying the fiorinol/fioricet won't help DD uses that when she gets a bad one, but it's not her "first line of defense". So, I will tell you something my doctor didn't, but Sandy-IA did, and she was so right. When you take this, and it may well work right away, DO NOT take it for more than 3 days. Migraines are funny, they like pain meds, and will sometimes "beg for more", and rebound so you will take more. Not always, but sometimes. I had a neurologist tell me to take 2 fiorinal everynight for mine that would last a while. When I was finally able to see a migraine specialist, he said that the first doctor didn't know a thing about migraines! At this point I don't think you need to take a daily preventative (I know you've had one for a LONG time, but it's only ONE), but you should talk to your regular doctor about an abortative if you get them again. Although I have to admit, your description of this headache didn't sound like a migraine to me. Not one sided, lots of other things. BUT, migraines are so different for different people that it oculd be, and "I'm not a doctor, I just suffer from migraines" Vickey-MN
