Miele 4840 Vibration - Damaging homes ?

jsfox

Since getting our Miele 4840 a couple of months ago we've had a number of problems with vibration. Store/Meile has been out twice but problems continue. Pictures on walls get shaken crooked. We've noticed a number of cracks in our walls and between walls and ceilings over the past few weeks that are well beyond normal. We can't sit at our kitchen table during spin because it feels like it's giving us a BM.

The W/D are installed in our 1st floor mud/laundry room next to our kitchen. The floor is 2x12 joists spanning 7' between supporting walls. 2 layers of screwed/glued T&G 3/4 plywood sub floor, then hardwood flooring. This is an extremely sturdy floor and should be more than adequate.

I'm starting to get very concerned that the vibration may be causing permanent structural damage to our home and/or damaging electronics, furniture, and other stuff. Any info from others who have experienced this or with knowledge of these issues appreciated.
