Got free delivery but my husband may install instead of the Miele techÂYou may wish to rethink this and have an authorized Miele installer do the installation as it will net you an additional year of Miele warranty. Make very sure that Home Expo is absolutely positive that the installer is Miele approved. Get the name of the installer and call Miele (800) 843-7231 to request verification of the installer. Having a Miele approved installer do the installation will also get you into the Miele database in a much better way. Also, while on the telephone ask to see if they are still honoring the additional one year warranty.
I have one question-I am getting the drawers for the storage. Has anyone ordered or have them now and do they like them? Living in California makes any storage a premium.I wanted the stands, but my wife didn'tÂI lost. Anyway, the stands are very well built and executed (soft-touch closing, thoughtful dividers, and laundry basket shelf). Thanks Somonica and Fahrenheit for the comments. You are so lucky you got the drawers for free. Ours were 239 each pre tax and I love the quality of the drawers also. I was concerned about the vibration of the washer during spinning if the drawers were used. I assume that the drawer does not matter then from your post. I called Miele this morning regarding the installation and customer svc gave me two names. Now I just have to convince my husband the extra 200 is worth it. I am now returning to an issue (which I have had since I bought the double ovens 2 years ago) with the temp on the ovens so another repair guy is coming. I already had them out when I first got the ovens and the tech said nothing was wrong. Since I discovered this forum I am now going to test the ovens myself like another lady just informed me she did. She ended up getting new ovens which work great. I would love to just once have a roast come out right. The Expo guys are not authorized Miele techs by the way. Thanks for looking out for me on that issue. The two-year warranty is still in place. Thanks again.

Although I love Miele products I find some aspects of Miele ownership more than just frustrating as in why do we have to pay for an authorized installer? Home Expo, of all places, needs to mandate that their delivery and installation crew take the Miele training courses and become a Miele authorized installer. I have to say that for $200 I would simply apply it to the five-year extended contract: MieleCare Rates. After you install them call Miele with your serial numbers written down and tell them the day it was installed versus the date you purchased them and have Miele enter your registration into their database. They will tell you that you can do it on the web, but the web form has no provision of when you took delivery.

Is a Miele Service Representative coming to service on your oven, or a third-party? I would contact Miele (800) 843-7231 and ask for Javier, here at the West Coast, Long Beach Miele service center. Tell Miele what you have learned, and see whether they will make a judgment call when they arrive (otherwise is will cost you $150 for the service visit). Miele can be very accommodating with its customers so it is worth a try.

The drawer weight 70LB! they just build that to the same standard as the washing machine itself......

Mine still have some "high spin" resonance sometime, and I still yet to balance that out. However, the "max spin" is always nice and very stable. :)

Thanks for the drawer info. Really anxious to get the new stuff. My best friend is Canadian now a US citizen and she goes to Canada at least once a year to visit. He brother in law just bought golf clubs here because of the price. Sorry to hear about the high prices. I get my meds from Canada because it is cheaper still and I can get a 100 pills at a time instead of the 30 days here. I am stll flabbergasted at how much more everything costs. Will keep you posted on how the new kids are doing when they arrive hopefully next week.
