Posting nasty comments on blogs? That just doesn't sound like her. Anyone could be posing as her, if it's intended to look like that for some reason.

Looking at some of the comments that were listed, I can't imagine why anyone thinks she is writing those comments. Anyone could be feeling that way and writing them. I don't get it.

I don't get it either squirrel, it doesn't sound like something EE would do. Not that I know her or anything. lol.

I'm sure EE has a ton of friends, so any one of them could be doing it.

It would be terribly childish and she's not at all like that, even on a bad day, I don't think.

I'm not even going to look, but I never take something like this as the truth. I wouldn't even suspect HER friends, I would suspect someone with an ax to grind with HIM.

I was afraid I was going to open this and see she had passed away. I wish her peace in her remaining time. She is a true lady.

I was afraid this post had to do with her passing too, Tina. I'm so glad to see that's not the case.

Honestly, there's nothing to look at. There's maybe 10 quotes on a site I opened and it's nothing. Innocuous stuff that there's no reason to think she even wrote. (I linked the page. Know nothing of the 'newspaper.' It was just at the top of a google and said it had some of the quotes.)

Sorry if the title of my post misled you. And I'm sorry if my mentioning this topic offended some of you. I meant no harm to anyone, and certainly not to the wronged wife.

I hadn't read any of the blog comments attributed to Elizabeth Edwards. I was going by the comments made by a guest on The View brought on to discuss the comments made by "Cherubim". The way she spoke, it sounded as though there was no doubt as to the true identity of the blogger.
I wish I could remember the guest's name.

Mona, I think that was last Friday when E.D. Hill was the guest host. Gossip is gossip.

I too was a bit scared to open this thinking something had happened to her.

Quite honestly, I don't see EE posting those blog entries. If you saw the Oprah interview she did last May, she was far from supportive of her husband and his campaign. Those entries were from last winter when she was writing her book. I think she was far from a supportive wife at that point.

If she had posted that he had made an irresponsible error in judgement and selfishly hadn't thought about the effect of his actions on his family - THEN I'd say, she posted it!

He really is a dog. I cannot stand men who cheat on their wives, and then lie to cover it up, and then when they're caught with no where to hide, confess a partial confession and then continue to lie until they are again forced to come clean. Really, he should be ashamed of himself. If he had just confessed the affair in its entirety up front and at least said the baby may be mine, I'd be a little more forgiving.

But no, first it was a one time fling, then it was a 6 month affair, but the baby isn't mine. Now it was a serious affair, that resulted in a child - and by the way, I knew all along it was mine, and I visited it and supported the mother and baby via funds I asked a friend to front.

Tina, I expected to read she lost her fight as well..

I saw the EE Oprah interview, thought it was good. She kept saying the "child" didn't interfere or directly impact her & her kids life, which I found hard to believe.

I know from my own bull when my dad was fighting that yes, paternity is something that will affect someone fighting cancer. EE could say all she wanted to about not being affected by it but I felt she was lying.

If she feels the need to divorce him or keep him, then it is her call. I begged my own father to divorce my "mother" when his cancer came out of remission but he wouldn't/couldn't.

I dislike cheaters. I will always side with the one being cheated on. If EE is blogging as Cherubim; maybe that's what she needs to do right now to keep fighting her cancer. I feel that if it is not her then shame on whoever is doing it.

I scanned a few entries, wish I had time to read more. I'm not sure I want to have an opinion on whether it is her or not.
