Our friend Lou is going in for some work on his leg today to treat a circulation problem. Be thinking about him and hoping everything goes well for him. Those sorts of things aren't easy.

Lou, I hope you don't mind my posting this. You have a lot of friends here whom I thought would like to know.

LOL !!! ********************************************* But you are going the other way this year. Maybe I'll meet you guys in Ca., if I visit my niece. She just moved from Laguna Beach to Laguna Beach. Two miles away into a Condo. Last time I visited her, we went to Wyland Galeries. He does amazing Bronze Sculptures. Hey there, you two. I am glad to see you again. I have been visiting here since 2001--don't say much but check in to see if you are still here and to read the quotes. Thank you, Don, for always providing them and you, Miss Lilo, for giving us a glimpse of your life on occasion. Before The New, the Histories tell us people lived very differently..... During "The Old" everything was provided by machines. Animals were farmed indoors with machines controlling feeding, movement and hygiene. Food plants were likewise propagated..... No disease was permitted in the clinically sterile conditions and genetically modified produce provided the optimal nutritional value. Worldwide people lived crammed on top of each other ........in tall building that made up vast cities. No one was permitted to live outside the cities, since their safety could then not be guaranteed. "Safety and Comfort" was the promise to the people from the governments. Transport vehicle ran on rails up to each and every building and were controlled by machines , since accidents could happen were humans to drive themselves. Exercise of any form was not permitted outdoors as safety to one's person could not be guaranteed. Children played in organised, indoor play venues. Adults could only exercise at machine, in the home or a communal policed gymnasium. Eye and hair scans took place at the entrance to every building and vehicle, so the position of every citizen could be monitored in the interest of safety. Records were kept of all families and food was rationed so no obesity or ill heath could occur due to bad eating habits. Families lived their lives around work or school, exercising and socialising with "appropriate associates". The Histories show that the more measures that were taken to ensure health and safety, the more people tended to look for reasons to feel frightened and unsafe. Certain individuals began to recognize the source of the growing anxiety and paranoia and started ti step apart from it. From the book: The Horses Know by Lynn Mann. A book about how a civilization escaped government tyranny based on fear and mistrust and formed new communities based on individuality, freedom from fear and self-reliance. Finding the road to trust, acceptance and peace. "The Histories" will become the new normal for many if we allow fear to overtake our independence. I will never accept this new normal.

Mike, Right before I bring my plants back in after the summer, I treat them all with Bonide tree & shrub (an imidicloprid drench). I also spray the ones prone to spider mites (I mean you Adeniums) with tetrasan, avid, and floramite. Not mixed together, but once a week for 3 or 4 weeks. During the winter if I see any pests, I spot treat with alcohol or maybe spray them with dead bug juice. I've been pretty lucky with regards to pest, except for the invasion of root mealies a few years ago (hence the imidicloprid drench).

Thanks for your concern.

I don't know how I missed this Post but my Daughter said I was a little Groggy.

Used her Laptop on the way home.

I checked into the Hospital at 7 AM and was there all day.
Don't remember what time I got home.
In fact I don't remember too much of the whole day.
Have to go back tommorrow to take off the wrappings and for a follow up and X rays.

Thanks to everyone for all the Positive thoughts and
Prayers.

Appreciated every one of them.

Update:
Went for an Ultrasound and a followup visit today ,
with the Vascular Surgeon.

She said everything looked good.
Must have been looking at someone elses leg,
because mine looked like an Alligator was biting on it.
About 17 cuts.
But it feels better than it looks.

A few sore spots but all in all, I'm good.
