About me: Married to a wonderful man, who is starting to enjoy my gardening passion. We built our house in 1996, and have gardens on 4 acres. Have three shade houses in which we sell hostas out of on Saturday mornings in the spring, and do a local farmers market on Thursdays to help support my hosta habbit. This hobby has now also included daylilies and ornamental grasses. Our gardens also include a vegetable garden, bog gardens, small fish ponds, roses, and many other perennials. We love composting, and usually have three piles that will measure anywhere from 8x5 or more.It makes me feel so good to smell that earthy smell of the compost piles. We have two grown children, daughter and son who live in KC, MO and daughter in Overland Park, Kansas, 5 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter.I work as a temp. at a local greenhouse, sometimes the work can be very physical but I do love my job.
I just love getting my hands dirty!~
