I grew some congo black and jamaican chocolate this year in the field along with several other capsicum chinense varieties. I use a small amount of organic fertilizer that is made from poultry litter and some bone meal. All chinense varieties need additional calcium especially if you see the leaves curling. I only add fertilizer when transplanting and side dress again late summer. We recently had over a foot of rain then blistering heat so I will side dress the plants again since they were so stressed. I had to harvest all of the chilies before they rotted from the excessive rain and flooding.

Sounds yummy! I had chocolate habanero and that's the only Habanero that I like. Now for the true test a 7 pot pod whole :-) Sounds like you have a good variety of peppers. Fatalii's have a great flavor especially in a sauce. Mark

I worked out this recipe after trying Jacques Torres 'Wicked Hot Chocolate'(which was wickedly good but wickedly expensive to mail order). Wicked Hot Chocolate About a cup or a little more milk Two squares Ghiradelli 100% cacao about 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes dash cayenne about 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp vanilla (added after heating rest of ingredients) barely heaping to heaping tsp honey This may sound very weird, but it's dark, slightly bitter, strong and with a little afterbite of the pepper. And it's absolutely delicious. Use whole milk and maybe even add a little cream.

She seemed prety unfazed by it and said that it would have to be customized.I x-posted to plumbing forum to see if I can elicit some advice from the experts there :) -------------------- I spoke to a customer service rep at Chicago Faucets today and she indicated that I can customize a faucet to withstand water temperatures as hot as 200 degrees Farenheit. The hot water flow will be limited by the output of the instant hot so not very much but the water itself will be very hot and be mixable with regular cold water as well. Here is the advice she gave.
