What would you do?

I should have found out in advance but I didn't and now that school is in full swing here I just need to get some advise.

Our oldest DD did not make the Cheer Squad this year, the coach offered her the job as a manager, which was good during the summertime with practices and going to camp. She really enjoyed being a part of the TEAM.

Now that school has started, practice is no longer fun, the seniors tell her to sitout when this starts. She is not involved with sign making or during pep rallies...can we say she is BORED.

I know she is just a manager - not a cheerleader but what is wrong with her learning during practice and being involved somehow. I've told her she is part of the TEAM, am I wrong, and afterall we have paid exactly what the other members have except for a uniform!

Should I ask coach to let her practice and what about if a cheerleader is kicked off the squad, would she fill in the spot? What would you do?
