Undercooked chicken in soup?

Hi. I poached some chicken to use in soup. I tried not to cook it too long so it wouldn't be tough. When I deboned it, I could see that I hadn't cooked it long enough.

Since it's going in soup and will be simmered longer, is it okay to use it this way? Will the simmering finish cooking it? It seems to me that it would. Right??
