Hi MIke, Thanks for the nice compliments!!! I know that u have as many beautiful Plumeria...are they ready to Bloom? You had said that you had a few inflos showing, so i was wondering if they are ready to put on a show!!! That White Plumeria is a Noid (Meaning no id on this tree...LOL!!! Not a named variety) For those that dont know what a Noid is!! : ) I will be more than happy to send u a cutting of this White if u want one...it seems to have the scent of the "Scentsational", but since it was sold without a tag...i can only guess. You know only a cutting can carry the true name. MIke did mention the great buys that he found at HD (Home Depot) : ) He is very lucky to have found some real beauties!! We even laughed about skipping lunch just to pick up a few more for that price! He really had some great restraint not to bring home a truck load!! Sorry, Dianna55... IT'S ME! IT'S ME! Thank you Donna (Lackboys3). When the FedEx truck was coming down the street, I just knew that for once it wouldn't be computer parts for DH or yet another present from a grandparent for DS, but for ME! How did you know that I broke the handle off my last favorite oversized mediterranean yellow coffee mug (I had already broken the other one in the pair) this past weekend? I almost went shopping for replacement mugs, but I showed great restraint and kept my shopping to my swap partner only. Thank you for a gorgeous pair of replacements. And the coffee and the spoons and the book to go with it. This is so much fun! Did you know that manatees are my most favorite sea creature of all? (DS will love the cookies too!) A favorite book of his that we have to sing/read with great regularity, is "I'm a Manatee" by John Lithgow. I mean, how can you not love lyrics like... I'm a manatee, I'm a manatee. Central Jersey here... We installed fiberglass last year. I would never have thought of installing anything else. You'll probably pay more for a fiberglass pool, but you'll save both on maintenance and chemicals. We've got an 18' x 37' fiberglass, and for two years in a row... $49 gets us crystal-clear water all season. What little algae there was trying to cling to the fiberglass when we opened the pool a few weeks ago was absolutely gone with a quick brush-off. Try that with any other types of pools... It all depends on the quality of the installer, as you probably know. Installing a pool is a one-time thing, and you want it done right, NOT for the cheapest price. We set a budget, and overall, we came in right under the budget, and have had zero problems in the two years we've had it. Hope this helped a bit. Best of luck to you!

Emma: Just some more info on how to grow black raspberries If you need it. The first year from planting I let the primocanes grow to about 5'-5.5' in height. At that time, I cut the growing tip off the primocanes so they do not grow taller. This will force a lot of lateral branching on the primocanes. By late summer my primocanes will be drooping to the ground. Any that touch the ground will root. Great if you want more plants or have friends to give them to (dig these new plants up the following spring when just showing signs of budding out). If you don't want more, just cut the tips off these lateral branches before they hit the ground. The following spring I will cut back any dead wood on the floricane tips from over the winter and usually prune them back about 1/3 in length. After harvesting my fruit in July, I cut out all the old canes (will be dead anyway the following year as raspberry canes are biennial) This is the easiest time to remove floricanes as you can still see the old caps where the fruit was after harvest. Removing them now gives the young primocanes more room too. (dormant Jewel raspberry 5' tall x 6' wide. normally yields 8 quarts!) (Jewel near harvest. Netted to hopefully keep the robins away.)
