And it's heading WEST. Of course, I must remind you, dear partner, that I literally hug the east coast of Florida, so ANYWHERE from my backyard, to Tampa, to Hawaii, is considered west of me. Now don't despair, I really loved shopping for you, and am pleased with the things I bought. I hope you will be too. And, as an added bonus, I did NOT become obsessive-compulsive during this swap, at least, not as bad as the last one:-) So watch for it, though it may take several days due to some bad weather here and there.

Now Diana, make an East Coast Girl happy, and give me my own personal skeleton, will ya??

'Morning Ladies! Well I received my box from Limequilla Friday afternoon,was excellent timing because I was out digging and moving stuff in anticipation. Here is what I received from Lime/Suzy: mum-white- Yeah! It is all happy in the "white" bed! daisy-Becky( I just the day before ordered wirral daisy from bluestone so I am so excited to put this with it in my "white" bed.....) ratibia-Red Midget (I've wanted this for a long time!) rudbeckia speciosa, this was a large clump, divided out it I have 5 pots of it now - wow! anemone- label says either bluestone or it is blue? could'nt read it but love it! AND a daylily, a large division with nice fat roots. It is all happy in a pot till I figuire out its forever home....I couldnt tell if it had a name (doesnt matter to me) or what color it is but I have unconditional love for daylilies, lol. I also love that bowl - it's great. And the edible goodies are mouthwatering. That's supposed to be The Word on Italian Cooking. I have the book, but have been too daunted to know where to start. Marcia - please do post any recipes you try on the discussions thread. And for the rest of you who have this book, please let me know which recipes you recommend. With over 1200 (and no editorial comments), I don't know where to start. Enjoy it all. Lynn.

Diana, you and your DH look stunning, but you guys need to stop losing so much weight already! And you know that grass skirt is SO 1980's.......

Well, actually, TECHNICALLY, Hawaii could be east of me, depending on which way I travel. Different ocean, and all.

Thank you Donna (Lackboys3). When the FedEx truck was coming down the street, I just knew that for once it wouldn't be computer parts for DH or yet another present from a grandparent for DS, but for ME!

How did you know that I broke the handle off my last favorite oversized mediterranean yellow coffee mug (I had already broken the other one in the pair) this past weekend? I almost went shopping for replacement mugs, but I showed great restraint and kept my shopping to my swap partner only. Thank you for a gorgeous pair of replacements. And the coffee and the spoons and the book to go with it.

This is so much fun! Did you know that manatees are my most favorite sea creature of all? (DS will love the cookies too!) A favorite book of his that we have to sing/read with great regularity, is "I'm a Manatee" by John Lithgow. I mean, how can you not love lyrics like...

I'm a manatee,
I'm a manatee.
I'm every bit as wrinkled as my grann-atee.

No difference between my face and fann-atee.

PS... Kayaks have pointy ends, front and back, and the paddles (not oars) have blades on both ends. But I really like your drawing! Have you thought of a new career as an illustrator?

Really nice swap package spacific! I love the theme. Coffee is one of my favorite things, and Illy brand is great! Love the colour of your mugs, and the coffee book looks wonderful too! Enjoy!

I'm so glad you received the package - it took WAY TOO LONG to be delivered all the way from the East Coast:-) I had a great time shopping for you, and of course paid close attention to the fact that you love coffee, like me! I hope your DS enjoys the sugar cookie mix and manatee cutter, from my boys to yours. The coffee book was just so pretty to look at, I couldn't resist. Hopefully, the mugs are large enough to hold a double latte for you!

You're just being kind about my very lame efforts to draw a kayak inside the card. Of course once my brilliant career in the legal field is over (when DH fires me!), naturally, I'll fall back on my incredible graphic skills. Yep.
