New mail program

Anyone here try this new program?

Does it interfere with OE or is it like Gmail?

It's got a whole lot of other programs with what you're looking at for photo/blog writer/and I forget what else.

I installed it at one time 'beta, then did away with it, just too much stuff to comprehend quickly & I was in process of skinny'ing down the hard drive. I'm sure it has changed and been made better and more easily intuitive.

No it didn't foul up OE or Hotmail for me. They still exist separately for OE and hotmail was painlessly easy to convert back to.

I might try it now that its out of beta. Realizing that it will take probably require some time than I care not to spend, to get rid of the extra bytes its loads, if I dont like it. If you're into photo sharing and blogging its probably the bee's knees.

I am thinking this isn't that one that is out for Hotmail now?

Aren't they two separate programs? This one is like OE, functions and all.

I've read several posts similar to this one and I don't understand what all the fuss is about. If I wanted to reply to a Craigslist email, I could do it in about 6 seconds with a few mouse clicks and not have to make any changes to the browser at all, nor would I need to install any type of a plug-in that might not be supported the next time the browser gets updated. Right-click the Craigslist email address Select Copy E-Mail Address with a left-click Open a new Tab-go to your AOL EMail Click Compose Right-click in the To: field and left--click to PASTE the email address you just copied a moment ago. What could be easier? Sometimes the problems encountered by users wanting to make everything work with one click are better solved by using what is already available to you. It's not that hard, and you just might learn something useful along the way.

Windows 7 and desktop mail program

Raven, I read about Spicebird on Kim Komando's site and downloaded the setup file to a flash drive using my desktop computer. When I went to install on the Windows 7 machine, it would not install, indicating I had a corrupt download. So I just downloaded Thunderbird directly and used it a good part of today. I haven't quite figured out everything about it, but it is working for me and all three of my web mail programs are working with it. I guess I'll look for a good tutorial and make sure I have everything set up correctly. I think there are some add ons available, too. It certainly beats Windows Live Mail.

Maybe, Open TB. In the Account Bar in the left pane right click on the target account, i.e. shaddy@yahoo.xxx. Select Settings. In the right pane of the appearing window is a signature text box. Google produced this expanded information using keywords "thunderbird signature" (sans quotes). Its not just another 'email account' like gMail. Its using your home.live.com (hotmail), enhanced.

OK, Thank you.

I was wondering because Hotmail switched me to Windows Live Hotmail which looks nothing like Windows Live Mail that looks just like OE, features and all.
