First thing I noticed...She's a Pampered Chef dealer..

Oooh, there was a time in my life when I was addicted to that stuff!!!!

BBQ Jumbo Turner from Pampered Chef~OMGoodness, when hubby sees this.... He loves his Bar B Boss from PC already!

BBQ Basting Bottle~How nifty is this? It's a silcone basting brush with a bottle on the end. I'll use the basting brush a ton, with and without the bottle attached!

Italian Seasoning and Citrus & Basil Rub~ 2 great bottles of seasoning fun!

Casual Cooking and Barbeque & Grilling Cookbooks~ The first one is a brand new one again from PC (I have alot of their books, but not this one!) and the other is an Old Better Homes and Gardens one...I love old Cookbooks!

Anna's Cookies (2)~ Lemon and Chocolate Mint. Yummmm thin cookies, I can buy these sorta locally, at this one particular small grocer, about 40 minutes from my house.

Biglow Teas (Assortment)~

Chocolates~70% cocoa chocolate and Raspberry Sticks...I loooooooooove raspberry sticks.

Rt 11 Chips~Locally made chips just down the road from her. I love chips too!

Peach Amaretto Jam~mmmmm sounds good

One item I found that you needed to have replaced.

Hi dahlialove That 'penelope' is a beauty. I don't see the orange you mention but the yellow/lavender combo is fantastic. And of course it is nothing like the catalogs says a real Penelope should be. My "Penelope" has morphed into a dinner plate - mostly red with dirty yellow gold in the middle but the kicker is all leaves have white tips. It looks a lot like (and actually may be) a Nick Sr, though the pics of Nick are much more red than mine. It is a Semi cactus and I actually cannot make up my mind if I like it or not. I am NOT a fan of Bodacious either - too busy for my taste - which may explain why Nick Sr would not be a favorite. But I moved it away from where I sit in the yard to the back section and it is starting to 'grow' on me. (Maybe out of sight, out of mind?) I may have taken a pic of it and am getting the photos developed now so I may have a picture soon, which I will post as a "Anybody know this dahlia?" thread later. For now, I know some of you have Nick Sr and I wonder if yours have white rolled tips and if some are more gold than red? David

Gary, One thing to keep in mind with orchids at the big boxes is many are, for the money, a better deal than buying cut flowers because they last so much longer. I do that, knowing that I know very little about keeping it alive or getting it to rebloom after it finally peters out. I just stick them in the boot of the palm tree out back and once in a blue moon fertilize them. And several have died out there, but one rebloomed for me recently. I felt like I doubled my money on that little very common purple and white dendrobium. I do the same thing with the little broms with the spectacular flowers (or whatever brom's non-flower flowers are called.) After several weeks, the flowers die and I plant them in the ground. I've had several of those rebloom too, and I'm even bringing pups and big divisions to the swap. They're not fancy, but for the $8 I paid, I got a lovely flower in the kitchen window for weeks, and if I get more, wow, yippee! I also think the orchids make much nicer hostess gifts than showing up with a bunch of cut flowers. If the hostess can't keep it alive to rebloom, he or she will at least get to enjoy the nice spray of flowers for much longer than cut flowers will last. (so when you see me at HD, don't bother to counsel me on my brom and orchid buys... just all the other stuff I might buy and potentially kill or hate!) As for the in-store kills, I saw a massacre in the making yesterday. Someone should go to the K-Mart in Miami Shores and convince the manager to sell them all the broms and orchids for cheap. They lost the shade covering in Fay and everything there is burned looking and won't last much longer. I thought about talking to him or her, but I don't know enough about orchids to think that even if they were heavily discounted, I could keep enough of them alive and get them to rebloom to make it worth it. susannah

You're missing the boat by a wide margin. Caspian Pink is a second rater at best. Black Krim and Cherokee Purple are good, but you need more flavor choices. Crnkovic Yugoslavian - huge fruit, out of this world flavor. Eva Purple Ball - outstanding production of good flavored tomatoes. Kellogg's Breakfast - a light orange tomato that will make your toes curl it is so good. Red Brandywine - this is a producer and a half and the flavor is pretty good too. Aunt Ruby's German Green - phenomenal light sweet tomato flavor. Daniels - This one is the best alternative I've grown to Brandywine. It is more productive and flavor just as good. Black From Tula - better production than Black Krim and excellent flavor J.D.'s Special C-Tex - the hands down best tasting tomato in my garden last season. I've eaten better, but this one will blow your mind for flavor. These are just a few of the options you could try. Jump in with both feet. Fusion

Lori, the package did make me feel special :) I really love the glasses, used them last night. I know nothing about wine pairings but we had some Sauvignon Blanc, which I love, with a pasta dinner and toasted to Karen! Larry said who is Karen Riverrat? LOL! I totally love these glasses! GranJan, I didn't notice any fingerprints, they were very light and very nice in my hand. The wine stayed cold. Maybe get a couple to try. I'd recommend them in a second! Thanks for the link, Jessy! Starting with my addiction, potato chips, gotta have some now, OMG

I have had Route 11 Potato Chips! If they were made down the road from me, I'd need to join PA.

Let's see what else; hum, that baster would make short work of coloring my hair. I could baste my roots. (Did you see that, Deb?).

Now I'm challenged to make that Peach Amaretto. BUT the 'peaches' we have in my part of California are fuzz covered balls of cardboard.

I haven't tasted the jam. My mom opened it today, and she wasn't to keen on it, but she's not into Amaretto..I on the other hand LOVE the flavor of it.

I'll have to give it a try tomorrow. I don't usually eat alot of bread or bread products though, so I'll have to remember to make a piece of toast. LOL

Oh and the balloon bombs are GONE! 90 degree weekend made the boys need them.

What a cool swap box. I really like the cookbooks and the baster is very clever!

Stacey, where did you get the popsicle molds? I tried to find some at Central Market to go with their Foodie mag and they were out. They have some great recipes for the popsicles in it.

You can get those popsicle molds at WalMart, Dollar Stores, Grocery stores, Kmart, Target, CVS.....

Great ole box!! First the packaging was terrific!

I love the grilling sauces, baster, and cookbooks. I always like learning more about grilling items.

I love all the indulgence items, too! Chocolate raspberry stick! YUMMMM! Great to include the children. Love my skinny scraper.
