my yahoo mail isn't working

I guess it is error code 2

Hi Francis,
I Googled for the specific problem and found out that it is a problem that occurs at the yahoo server side and only option that we have is to wait till the yahoo guys fix the problem. Seems like it's some sort of a random problem and the yahoo support team is very slow in fixing the issue. Have you tried to sign out and back into your account??
I will continue to search for a better solution for you. Maybe someone else here has had the same problem and will submit an answer. Good luck!

Several I know have had yahoo problems in the past month it seems ... I tell them to turn off messenger if they run it and go to www.yahoo.com and log off there at top of page and reboot. And that fixes most of them.

Jspeach, since you've posted I've thought about seeing someone else's posts here saying same thing. Angela, confusion made clear -simply- my pc scans clean, so that's a good news, it seems Microsoft Security-Firewall and Norton's Firewall- might have clashed, some tell me they shouldn't, that its okay to have 2 firewalls, some say to leave only one, in either case, I can't connect to Yahoo e-mail or directly to Internet Explorer, can to other sites. After talking with 2 HP tech's in India-it tires you, imagine them too, smile. I understand about fast talking at times- except when you're long distance and certain keys and letters need to be typed, takes a while to figure it, I'll call them again today, fingers crossed and knocking on the wood. I don't seem to be having problems with Yahoo. I haven't tried to send a message, or create a draft, or use attachments though. Hmm... Perhaps you can search the internet and see if anyone else is currently having problems? Does Yahoo have a technical page where they report problems they are having, or you can report the problems you are having? Good luck!

I have never seen a firefox add-on called that, I did a search on firefox extensions page and nothing with realplayer in the name even came up. That is a new one on me. You can always try getting Real Player again should you find you need it. Or you can get something like Real Alternative which will play Real stuff and is light and easy. Download Real Alternative RealPlayer as stated by MozillaZine you have 2 alternatives for Real media. since you gave me the exact name I googled it and sure enough it apparently does appear for some people and it looks like it is causing a lot of problems and it can be disabled here are the results Here is a link that might be useful: search result
