With all of the posting and answering emails re: EarthTainer construction (which I am happy to answer), I simply don't have time to maintain a garden blog. Here are some photos from my comparison of Brandywine Sudduth to Ed's Millennium of today: I'm now harvesting large quantities of fruit and fortunately, both Brandywine Sudduth and Ed's Millennium have decided to join the party. Ed's Millennium weighed in at 17.6 ounces and the Brandywine came in at 9 ounces. In terms of texture and seeds - both are quite similar. While both tasted good to me, the Ed's had a more pronounced flavor, similar to my Earl's Faux. The Brandywine on the other hand, was a bit more "mild", and less "wow". Again as Carolyn says, everyone's palate is unique, however I won't be devoting garden space to Brandywine Sudduth next year, but will be doubling my Ed's Millennium in its place. Raybo

exFAT, FAT32, NTFS, are different systems that do the same thing, they specify data structure and organization at the device level. On a disk drive, on a CD, on a card, etc. Drivers are translators and facilitators for things that talk different languages - a device driver is the intermediary between a PC and an attached "something else". So, to connect a new something else (a card with a file structure that didn't exist when XP was released), you need a new driver. That shouldn't affect anything else, But make sure you have a recent restore point to back up to, just in case. Two alternatives that don't require driver changes: 1) Copy the files (temporarily) to a new folder on the Win 7 machine. Then use a smaller card that both PCs can read as a bucket to carry from one to the other. With a 32 GB card, just two steps, with 16, just four, if the 64 GB card is full. 2) Move them over a network connection. That could be slow depending how much you have, maybe several hours or overnight.

Try holding down the 'Win' key, usually next to alt... then press R for Run. Or you can open one of the black command windows.. type in there works with most things that require the run line. Or you can open Taskmangers left applicationss tab... and choose New Task.. on bottom right. That will work for most things as the Run line. If I right click my lower left Start button, choose properties... then choose the Start Menu tab... then customize... I can add or remove the Run line from the pop up start menu.

Well, this will not resolve for me, so I come back just in case there's a answer - seems the answer is "no" not with W7 64 bit.. maybe the history of new MS OS release is a gradual increase in the number of updated applications/drivers. My circular problem is the IR driver W7 installed on its "own", straight plug and play did work some, at least I was able to load the DT on W7 from my Hand Held. So I figured go back to the IR device mfg and see what they had to offer. After loading that driver I found the IR completely no-op, never made even a connection. So, I uninstalled the mfg driver and went back to have W7 PnP get me back to the sometimes work...but this time I did note the driver identification. Well, PnP loaded the same driver. On the face of it this is good news, PnP was able to fine the mfg's driver. But, as I don't know what was there in the beginning, I assume the earlier/first driver load was not the mfg as the device partially worked. Is it possible that since I downloaded the mfg drive the W7 installer is able to find it on my HDD? I did a W7 Control Pannel uninstall and I checked the file system and found the associated files that I knew of were gone.
