Near the top left of my screen using Firefox (There is another less versatile way to do this with a Firefox addon. My IE looks completely different.) is a place to select 'Edit'. Clicking on Edit brings a drop down which includes 'Find on this page...'.

Clicking on 'Find on this page...' generates a bar near the bottom of the screen where I can enter a word or phrase and there are options for 'Next', 'Previous', 'Highlight all' and 'Match case'.

All options work except 'Highlight all'

Trivial question #32 -- do you know how to make 'Highligh all' work?

Highlight all worked for me Albert. I hadn't tried it before but when I typed the word it found the first one and highlighted it in yellow. When I clicked highlight all it highlighted all occurrences on the page including those which were part of a longer word.
Doesn't help you except maybe to let you know that it at least works properly for some.

Owbist - you articulated the decision factors beautifully. And that is what makes it difficult. Presently, all I do is load it on the camera and crop. I know I would like to be able to do some color/contrast/tone/brightening adjustments, be able to edit out troublesome aspects. Eventually, I would like to be able to clean older photos and change colors (I know I would have loved to have been able to change the colors of the walls in my house to assist with paint color choices). Whether I'd ever get to something like swapping heads or filters, I don't know (I don't even know what filters are). Another aspect that is important to me is good photo organizing tool. I've been reading reviews of software editing programs (many free), and the reviews don't even mention organizing photos. I'm not sure if that's bc. they all do it, so it's not the feature worth reviewing, or bc. they don't do it. By the way, this review site is very useful - for all kinds of digital photograph questions. I'll post the link here in case others are interested: http://www.brighthub.com/multimedia/photography/articles/4488.aspx. Now if I knew how to make a tiny url of this, I would have done that. I think I even have that firefox addon, but don't know how to use it yet. I think I'm going to try Photofiltre first. Paintnet also looked good, as did photoscape. All are free. Does anyone here know photoscape? A couple of more questions, if that's okay. 1) why would someone want to resize a picture? 2) what's the advantage to having a card reader get the photos on the computer, rather than just connecting the camera to the computer via USB? Thanks so much @Joseph Corlett, LLC, and for replying so quickly too. The Blanco sink we wanted was a regular one bowl sink, not an apron front. Not sure if this would change anything. The picture you posted was great. So when installing a new sink, we would remove the front of the cabinet and the sink would slide out, correct? I found out about sink straps from your posts here after we started the remodel. If I had known before, I would have picked a contractor willing to install with straps. We are a big family and a large sink is important to us. He cannot understand how straps attached to the cabinet are strong enough to hold up the sink. He is not willing to cut into the new cabinet as he says it would weaken the cabinet (see triangular pieces in corners that would have to be removed in picture below). It would also void the warranty, and he has supplied the pre-fab cabinets, so either I find someone else who is willing to, or I get a drop in sink to avoid attaching to the plywood, which is the way I'm leaning now. Do you know of anyone with your expertise with strap installation in Los Angeles? I hope there's a way to install the top mount sink into the quartz where we can do an undermount with straps in the future. Also a side question. We had mold damage which started the kitchen demo. Mold was around the dishwasher cabinetry (dishwasher leak), and also on the plywood subdeck around the sink (we think from weak caulking and holes in grout between granite tiles on countertop). Is there anything that can be done to protect the cabinets from dishwasher leaks? By the time you realize the dishwasher is leaking, the damage is already done. Thank you so much. With your range opposite the dishwasher, opening both at once blocks the whole kitchen. Putting the washer in that area makes things worse. Much better to offset the appliances if possible. A stacked washer dryer can cost more to repair, because the plumber may have to bring a helper to unstack the units and pull them out. And given that laundry equipment has to be repaired with some frequency, you don't want to build it in so tightly that it ruins the cabinets when it does get pulled out. Food doesn't have to be stored in a pull out pantry. I had one in our last house, and it really didn't work. Stuff falls out, cereal boxes are too big, canned goods are too small and can't be stacked. My favorite food storage ever was a long cabinet recessed between the studs, like a medicine cabinet. Just right for cans, jars, bottles, small boxes stored one item deep. In my current kitchen, I use little turntables in the upper cabinets. This is cheap, can be easily rearranged, and doesn't waste much space. Finally, check your code. Some places don't want you to put the laundry directly into the kitchen. The issue is e.coli-- think dirty diapers and underwear. So you are loading the washer, get distracted, forget to wash your hands, and start chopping veggies for the salad... Yum! ;)

ladylotus - many of us have been trying to get the Australian red finger lime (most U.S. nurseries only have the green) but it is not the same as this. In fact, there are 3 out there that have similar names but different fruit shapes and/or leaves and are different hybrids. I posted the below [in another thread[(https://www.houzz.com/discussions/red-lime-tree-question-dsvw-vd~5107692) about these limes - jenny_in_se_pa(USDA7 Sunset 32) There is a huge thread on this where the 3 different limes with a similar name, get hashed out and you will find folks that have at least 2 or all 3 - https://www.gardenweb.com/discussions/4949487/ordered-a-red-lime-tree-on-a-whim-anybody-growing-one?n=136 In summary - The generic "red lime" appears to be this (or similar) - http://www.citrusvariety.ucr.edu/citrus/excalibur.html The "blood/red centre lime" appears to be this - http://www.homecitrusgrowers.co.uk/australiannativecitrus/bloodlime.html And Saltysea mentioned the finger lime, where no one can find the red varieties here in the U.S. (at least yet). sorry forgot to say it does work fine on my linux firefox also. Once I type in the word to search for then all the options are visible and highlight all is available and works.

Tried it and retried it again. It finds and highlights the first but then 'highlight all' not only does not find all but removes the highlight from the first find.

Next, Previous and Match case work. It is only Highlight all that don't work.

So I've got something turned off or not updated.

I've XP, a getting old Dell, and Firefox 2.X, I haven't upgraded that yet.

OK, I upgraded to Firefox 3.X

This changed the Edit drop down a bit but I can still get to "Highlight all" in the bar at the bottom of the screen. The "Highlight all" box will toggle on and off, it just don't highlight anything.

The spouse is set up as a user on my computer. I switched to her user and "Highlight all" highlights with the yellow just as bob describes above.

So it is just the one user on this one machine where "Highlight all" won't work.

Curious huh?

it sounds like something in your firefox profile is corrupt or one of the add ons you have on your profile conflicts with that option, look at what add ons you have that she does not have. You may have to create a new profile.

Well, I have found the conflict >Tools>Options>Colors has a box to check to allow pages to choose their own colors. If this box is checked then >Edit>Find>Highlight all will work.

Now here is the interesting thing. It is only the highlight all which will not work. Other features of >Edit>Find will work irregardless of the tools, option, colors setting.
