Yes, mes444 is right. Right click on a blank space (not on an icon) on the desktop and select 'properties' from the drop down menu. Click on the 'settings' tab and below the center on the left side you will see 'screen resolution'. You will want to move the slider to the right. Click 'OK' and see how things look. You may have to use a little trial and error if you don't know your monitor's resolution and don't have the manual handy.

All was as I had set last night when I shut down normally. Had all programs and windows shut before I clicked the shut down icon. No updates done that recently, either. I'm convinced there are gremlins who do this! LOL!

Go back to the tool bar and choose View on the upper toolbar. When it opens up Choose Text size . A little menu with increase or decease will pop out. By choosing increase and do that a second time you can increase the font size for the session you are reading emails. You would have to do this every time you read email I do that two times to increase the size for eyes too. I think it is about a 120 increase. At least it is on the Sea Monkey browser I use.

Here are some settings to check to be sure the comp is set up for your monitor: Rt click desktop, then properties, then settings tab (be sure the screen resolution is set to your monitor's native resolution, found in the literature which came with it), color should be set to highest 32 bit, then click the advanced button at the bottom, click on the monitor tab (be sure you monitor is listed correctly), then click the properties button and make sure your video card is listed properly. If all is well, then you know it's not the hardware settings. If something is wrong and you can't fix it, let us know and we can help some more.
