Plug the vacuum cleaner in and set the dial selector to one side or the other. "Curtins" or "Smooth"? Remove the hose from the wand. Turn the vacuum cleaner on and listen to the sound of the vacuum cleaner. Feel the suction from the hose. As you are doing this, slowly turn the dial to the other side. You should notice a change in the noise volume and the feel from the suction in the hose. Continue doing this, so you can understand the sound and feel. If you have done this and still no variation, then the vacuum is broken. The instructions do tell the owner to turn the "suction power selector to the desired setting."

Azinoh's thoughts in his first response may be valid. Getting huge text files is and can be vastly different to receiving images. Many budget priced cameras these days can be 12 megapixel so can create a large file with only one photo. I have contacts who have a 10 megabyte limit on emails. Just a thought.

Luvs - Your display looks so cool..hohoho Your green garland with the red berries really frames your snowy friends. I see an 'ol' friends - the snowman on the right. What did you use to add the lights in the snow? I really like how you added the snow man and reindeer to your lovely couch. Makes it part of the whole scene. I love "staging" my collections of decorations, help keep down the cluttered look. I have enclosed two pictures of my favorites. If you look at the snowflakes on the center snowman, you will see that our river left a little "brown" behind. Was going to change it but then DH said it was a great reminder that he survived just like we have. Belle

I don't consider my plants on display while they're inside for winter, they're just trying to survive. This pot (term used loosely, it's a 5-gal bucket with holes added to the bottom) is in my unheated laundry room near a S window. Plants go wherever they can to get near a window, and any (almost) flat surface is fair game, even a chair! Some stay outside permanently in a mini garden. (many more pics here: http://forums2.gardenweb.com/discussions/1485681/mini-garden?n=44 ) Cramming plants together helps squeeze as many as possible as close to windows as possible: Air plant (this one is Tillandsia ionantha) is displayed in the crook of a Dracaena tree. A "mini jungle." Some crammed windows: (Mentha, if you see this, I've clearly and totally been caught being hypocritical. Look at the sticker. You deserve to know it's been there for about 4 yrs. Given myself a time out! LOL!)
