I gather from the answers that I can find that there is no compatability pack to bridge the changes between Works 6 abd Works 8. The workaround would be to ask your sister to save the document in Rich Text (RTF) rather than WPS format. You would then be able to view it in your older version of Works. To save in RTF, she will need to create the document, click on File, then Save As and then change the file type to Rich Text. Pam

Maxmom, I agree, The Devil in the White City is not fiction. It is what is what I call "historical fiction". Though based on history (and a lot of it for sure) there are obviously things in the storyline that are unknown to the author, especially in the serial killer's private life. What makes this story a little less like a true historical fiction is the fact that all of the main characters were real, not created in the author's mind, but I still see it as historical fiction. To me, it looks like J. Talaipe - or J. Talaire. It does look like a Bob Ross painting, which IMO is a compliment. I can’t tell you how many nights I’ve passed time watching Bob Ross’s goofy paint shows at 3 am. I love the way he always made it look so easy.

alwaysundecided - I'd love to post pix but I'm a pretty private person (sorry). Like yourself, I like certain things (that may not always mesh together), and I buy them and then play around (often moving them from place to place/room to room), until I have an 'aha' moment. I think you are doing great on your own, and the only thing you are missing is 'self confidence'. Remember, this is YOUR space and no one knows your taste (or has to live with it), other than you and whomever lives with you. We can all share with you our taste/suggestions/etc., but ultimately you are the decision maker. Having said all that, I personally think having night stand (regardless of it being mirrored or not), with a mirror in the back, no longer leaves room for a lamp - too crowded. As well, I think the whole purpose of a night stand is to place things on top of them, and if you have a lamp there it takes away from useable space. Have you considered/thought about small hanging chandeliers placed directly above the nightstands? Low enough so that you can see some of the crystal reflections in the mirror, but not too low that it takes away from the visibility of the mirror?
