I like this last set that you've pictured. I think it is different and not something you see all the time. I'm not a fan of the other two.

I am a big fan of the single lever contemporary style, that said I am not sure I like the look of the 2nd one pictured, the one with the single handle that looks like a pony tail out of the top. There is a ton of styles out there, go to several local stores and you will see a ton of stuff. I had never even heard of 98% of the stuff out there. It's a big job but when you see what you want you will know it.

We had the same problem - wanted the Purist line but also wanted a handshower for the tub. We ended up going with the Brizo Quiessence line:

Ours haven't been installed yet so I can't give any feedback on how they work. I can't say the Brizos were exactly budget friendly but I *think* they were a little less (or at least no more) than the Purist line. And they were substantially less than the Dornbracht I originally fell in love with.

As far as mixing different faucets, as long as they are all similar it doesn't really bother me. My husband, on the other hand, would have no part of that when I suggested it. So, I guess it really boils down to your tolerence for such things.

it turns out we're keeping the Ikea lav faucets, because the Ikea vanity top we love has these special shallow Eropean drains and if we use a regular American faucet we can't use the pop-up drain lever. I would hate having a lever there that did nothing!

So as of now it looks like we're using Purist in the shower, Ikea at the lavs, and probably Brizo at the tub. The other option is to use the Purist tub set with another manufacturer's plain handshower. We'll see how DH feels about all that.

When we remodeled our bathroom I ordered all the faucets and even the toilet handle to match. Then we found out DH had to have surgery so we pushed everything back for several months. When we finally were able to get started again we discovered that the lav faucet was too large and we would have to get something else and the toilet handle just didn't work with our toilet. So, we had to get a different faucet and tank lever that didn't match the tub/shower fixtures. It all turned out great and no one notices, or I suspect even cares that the handles don't match. I'd say get the faucets you really like and don't worry about matching.

We were debating between similar faucets for our kids' baths and ended up choosing the Danze Parma. It has a full suite of matching fixtures and the prices were a lot less. We also liked the curved spout on the Parma.

I know this is just my personal opinion/experience. For years we had old Kohler faucets with the cross handle. I did not like them as you could not tell where the handles "were" in terms of temperature control.(the four "spokes" make it more difficult--at least for me) We now have lever faucets. When you want to adjust the water temperature, it much easier to look at the hot or cold lever and see where it is and then adjust for more warm or cold water. I am not sure I am making myself clear--but basically I find it much easier to adjust the temperature with the lever than the cross handle faucets. If you have a single lever, then it is very easy to adjust for temp.

Something to keep in mind if you go with Brizo and if the finish is Satin Nickel, Brizo's satin nickel finish has a slightly yellow tinge and doesn't match with other brands' satin nickel finish. For the masterbath we went with the Loki faucet for the vanity and Hansgrogh and Ginger for the shower. The salesman pointed out the differing tinges, but since they were on opposite walls, it didn't matter to us.
