Help us pick faucets????

Well- we're having a tough time picking faucets!!! Does anyone want to vote?

Here's the dilemma- the line we like better (Kohler Purist) doesn't offer a hand-shower with the tub filler, and folks seem to think that's important. We could build one from components but it pushes it all out of our budget. The other line, American Standard's One, is cheaper, but I don't love the lav faucets... too masculine and stubby :(

Our aethetic and materials: calm, soothing, natural and modern but not stark.

Floor tile is white 12x24 with a slight texture/variation, laid in brick pattern. The soaking tub deck and apron will be this same tile.

Shower and wall/backsplash tile is off-white glass mosaic (no irredescence or other shades).

Accent tile (in niches and shower floor) is Honey Onyx mosaic.

Vanity cabinet and wall cabinet will be natural cherry. Very sleek, european with chrome legs.

Accents: wood, plants, baskets, shells from our travels.

Here's the vanity top. It's white resin/marble dust.

Vanity will be natural cherry with chrome legs, but a similar style to this:

Floor/tub deck tile:

Shower/wall and accent tile: (shower tile is not so cool as the pic shows, more an off white/warm grey...)

Vanity wood

OK--- so here are the faucet choices.

First up- we already bought these but can return them. They are the Ikea faucets that go with the vanity top. We like them a lot, but they have rather distinctive handles that don't match any other faucets/valves we can get. Does that matter? Probably not on the shower but the tun is right next to the vanity...

here's the Kohler Purist

and the cheaper American Standard One

What do you think? Do we need to match handles? If so, what's your vote?
