wet bed floor got 'showered' during installation - is this a prob

Hello,

I am concerned about the long term consequences (if any) of having the wet bed for my shower floor getting soaked immediately after it was laid.

Long story long, a radiator had been disconnected in the bathroom when the heat was turned on and several gallons of water shot out of the radiator pipe (no radiator connected) and soaked the plywood floor and the just laid wetbed in the masterbath.

My contractor said it is not a problem for either the plywood or the wetbed. I thought the water content of the cement mix or whatever is used on the wetbed was key to it setting correctly. Who's right? Should I worry? Should the plywood be replaced? The water drained through the ceiling below onto the floor of the first floor where it pooled and was "quickly" vaccuumed up according to my contractor.

This just happened Friday and the wetbed is hard now.

Thanks for any advice!
