It doesn't sound like a problem with firefox, but with the page you're trying to access.

What page are you trying to access?

I get that message when I click on Firefox which is the browser I use.

Maybe a problem with your home page on firefox.

agree that is not a problem with firefox but with the page you are trying to access, it is either having a problem at the moment or something on it was not done properly for it to be accessed by firefox.

I see that happen quite a bit but other pages load just fine.
Some webmasters still only write their pages specifically for IE and not for other browsers which is stupid because a large number of people use firefox and opera. It is their loss when some people can not access their site.

There is an add-on for firefox called IEview you can choose to use the IEview on some sites that do not work well with firefox and might work with IE.

I'm going to try to explain the problem again.
I press the Firefox icon to use it as my browser & that message comes up. I am trying to access Firefox which I prefer over IE.

When you press the icon to start firefox it tries to access your home page. If we knew what your home page is someone could try to open it with firefox.

ok when firefox opens and gives you that message go up to the top and click on tools then options, there it will let you change your homepage, change it to something like www.google.com that you know is a good site and see if that works.

even if you get that message for the home page you can still type in another address in the url bar and go to another site.
It is just what ever site you have set up as the first site for it to open to that is causing the issue.
