Change you cookie settings to accept third party cookies.

do you have the ad block plus add on in your firefox if so that is what blocks that site, you would go up to the red ABP stop sign up in the top right of your browser and tell it to disable for that site only, (click the little blue arrow to the side of the red stop sign.

I agree with RC, ABP is doing its job as Doubleclick is a leader in the ad industry.

Just a convenience thought, why not use an updated IE for viewing this or any other obstructed or limited page? Or perhaps Opera if you have it. It sure beats worrying about independent site settings in FF.

Thank you Mike, Raven and DA for answering. I'm just now getting back to the computer due to a terrible cold, so will try your suggestions. I do have IE 8, I thought I had tried that, but maybe not. And I do have Opera, altho I've never used it. I'm sure one of these or more will work. I'm wanting to get a laptop, so I'll probably have more questions.

well in your original post you said you were using firefox, so if you are and you have the adblock plus add on then just clicking on it and turning it off for that particular site should do the trick.
I personally do not allow any 3rd party cookies so would not want to do a general over the board allow for that.

I had the same problem trying to view the flier ads for a store and realized it was the adblock plus stopping it once I turned it off for that site all worked.

Thank you Raven. I am using firefox and have done what you sid, but even tho adblock plus is inactive for that site and staples is whitelisted, it still does not allow me to see the product details. It gives me the same message about firefox not being able to commect to doubleclick. I also do not allow 3rd party cookies. I have been sick for a few days and haven't been on the computer until now. today, I thought maybe if I logged off, maybe it would work, so I shut down. When I logged back on, I cannot get firefox to load at all. When I go to the other user's account, I CAN get firefox. I can get anything else I've tried, except a couple of test downloads. I am on IE now, but I don't like it. I have the same staples problem with opera and IE also. I don't have any problem with the office depot site. Now I am wondering if I uninstall and reinstall firefox is the way to go. But I will wait to hear from someone here. I don't want to mess up the other user permanently. Oh yeah, I did an updated full malwarebytes scan and it came up clean. Shall I do an uninstall or does someone have another idea about getting firefox to load? Thanks to all you who are so helpful here.

The other user should have their own profile. You uninstalling and reinstalling firefox should not change anything for them. That would be my next step.
