I have a hobo composting bin setup made from random stuff, mostly pallets, but also some plywood. Without doubt, it is unsightly, but, without doubt, it has been a spectacular success. I've made about 5 yards of compost and I have another two or three in process. I know my wife would love it if I could come up with something a little less ugly. My plan is to scrounge a stack of same-sized pallets to create a modular bin system. I will use some used but presentable 4x8 sheets of siding, cut to fit, to dress up the outsides. Hopefully, when it's done, you won't know what it is to look at it, and the sections will be easy to assemble. Although I understand why a person would buy a plastic something to have a tidy little bin, I can't justify acquiring a spendy little box that needed to be made from crude oil, even if the plastic is recycled. I am more than handy enough to come up with something that my wife will appreciate. My wife is the uber-recycler.

If you can open the recycle bin and right click the file.. can you do that ? If so, Un-Delete it. I've from control panel, users .. deleted user accounts in win8 and they seem to disappear completely easy enough. So maybe that file is bigger problem than it seems. You can certainly try to use Control Panels 'Programs & Features' icon to uninstall QuckBooks .. and if that works, see if that file goes away. But try to undelete it first may be necessary now. You may need to login windows to the account that won't delete, and from Control Panel 'Folders' options, put everything on Show Hidden files. Then open your C drive while in that account, and double click the $Recycle.bin and then the folder inside it.. try to delete the file there - if it wont delete,,,, try to delete the folder it is in.. and no luck,,, maybe delete the actual $Recycle.bin if you cant get rid of this mystery file. I might delete them and try runnin Revo Uninstaller ... it has a tool... Evidence Remover. Completely Erases Deleted files on the hard drive - takes a few minutes. Also,, sounds like IF you can and want to restore them, after a reboot maybe just delete them again,, since delete seems to work. Possible when you restore them windows will discover they dont exist and may clean up the records.
