No, don't be worried yet. They are later to start poking through. Darwins are later to bloom than some other types of tulips. Mine don't bloom until the end of April or early May depending on that year's spring weather. You are south of me, but I would think that the bloom time still would not be that much sooner. Remy

I don't know how easy Needles are to separate. But my clump started to suckering within a single season, so now there are developing Needle suckers where there were none in April. I don't intend to separate for a few reasons. Not sure how well suckers can survive at this stage and not quite sure how to do it though assume easier than with Med. fan which seem notoriously difficult. Also, I want the clump to build up food and mass for the winter and severing the suckers would seem to defeat this as they have only been in the site for 1.5 years. Thinking of which palms I regularly divide by pups and the only one that comes to mind is Raphis (Lady palms), which are easy. I agree with Lago, if you want to propagate palms go with seeds, some are real EASY. Try Washingtonia, Phoenix canarience, and maybe Queens and Butia capiata. Butias are supposed to be slow but my Butias seem to be on steroids!! :)

I'll chip in with my thoughts. If you have access to specialty lighting stores or the lighting sections of big box stores, you could look at actual displays of a huge variety of different types of fixtures which will suit your situation. You may be fortunate to get the assistance of knowledgable floor managers who can give you the information you require, such as what types give the type of light you're looking for. Make sure you get someone who knows what they are talking about. You will definitely find lighting which will satisfy your requirement, and you may have to pick depending on cost. Ted

The Secret Life of the Bees Interpersonal interplay of a young girl who finds a houseful of caring Black women after she runs away from a very terrible home situation. UP - a rollicking cartoon film about a codgedy old man who has lost his wife and nearly lost the will to live when he suddently decides to kick civilization in the rear and make the dream trip that he and his wife had discussed and said someday we'll go. It's one of the better movies of this group. Ed Azner does his voice - a perfect match. Avatar Science fiction totally digitized. A block buster effort. It does have scenes where violence is directed toward the planet and its hidden inhabitants, but these scenes are necessary to tell the story. Toy Story 3 Like Toy Story 1 and 2, except Andy has aged is going off to college. The toys are headed for the storage bin and are in danger of being tossed out. Robots Fictional robot characters and their lives. They have atonishingly human traits and some are not so good. The director uses the characters as a canvas to play out the interaction of these traits.
