I can't decide on just one style. I have a small formal boxedged garden on the lawn near the house with lowgrowing polys and floribundas. Beyond this garden are the wilder areas with tall shrub roses among fruit trees and a woodland with species roses. My garden is only half an acre in a rather dull suburban setting but I've tried to create a few longer vistas with shade alternating with open areas, as close to garden rooms as I can make it with my limited space. There is no room for an enclosed secret garden but there are at least three secret nooks for the grandchildren to hide in.

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I spent a LOT of time online making my decisions tonight...and wound up with the Danze Fairmont centerset bathroom faucet for $123.36 and the Danze Fairmont Shower/Tub combo fixture for $147.36. Both in brushed nickel and both from danzefaucetwarehouse.com. Prices around the Internet for Danze seemed to all have the same 15% off sale ending tomorrow...so I thought the prices were at least reasonable. And I've been VERY happy with my Danze Opulence faucet in brushed nickel in my kitchen for two years. Can't say enough great things about how solid it feels and the sheen to the finish. LOVE it!! I actually had it all ready to go on faucetdirect.com, but realized at the last minute they were out of stock. A very nice woman on the phone there said that if they are out of stock of Danze, it takes about three weeks for them to get a new shipment and then they ship it to you. So we are thinking about Granite or Soapstone for the Stove side - but we only need 2 small pieces and it is not sensible or feasible to purchase an entire slab, right? Does anyone know where we may find any smaller pieces of Stone, HELP? And do you all have the Sources for any of the lovely Marble Back Splash Tiles? Will it be OK to use a marble Back Splash with a granite counter? The metal square tiles above our SS Counter-Top/Sinks, will be removed, I hope it is easy - then the same Back Splash will be used on the Sink side of room. And maybe I should start a separate thread and solicit more info to try to figure out whether I have aberrant useage or installation or a lemon installed...? (or installer, most likely). Anyway, thanks. As for the OP, FWIW, let me just say that of all the myriad decisions over months and months and a gazillion dollars, this one was the hardest for me ... and that was before the ultimate seeming long-term, ongoing mess-up. (Course that could retroactively color that particular decision as well). I just found -- well, given hollysprings' point which I think is well-taken; I found the decision really, really hard. At once the faucets were all similar and good-enough, maybe, except then they weren't, too. And the high end ones really were ultra-nice ... and mind-bogglingly more expensive than the others ... which might have been good-enough. It is all complicated by the fact that the same manufacturer will construct units in different countries with very different innards .. and you can't see them or understand what you're getting, what you can get away with, etc... Anyway, I found this decision toughest of all. Good luck with it! I think the point about water hardness is really important as well. And water pressure. ...whew... I'm still traumatized by this decision! Back still broke, I guess you coud say... MizzLizzie: lol: " But at the end of the day, I think I will sink some serious money into either" .. cute pun.
